Came here at the recommendation of a local. They run a sanctuary for exotic animals who had been abandonned by people who tried to keep them as pets - from snakes and other reptiles, to spiders, alligators, porcupines, servals, parrots and monkeys. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about their work and we truly enjoyed learning about the animals and the experience. You can tell the staff truly cares about the rescues and I applaud the amount of dedication.Proceeds of the admission and the store go towards the cause of this sanctuary and we will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

For $15 you can see all kinds of cool animals in back and they let you stay back there as long as you want really. Cool lizards, monkeys, crocodiles and more.

We had an amazing experience at Northern Exotics. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter had a blast and didn't want to leave. We will be back in the near future!

Friendly staffs. I’m an animal nerd so I spent more time looking at each animal and read their stories. Each person may have different experience, but still think it’s worth a visit!

The owner is amazing!!! We call him our fish guy!! Always big smile and knowledgeable. Has helped us many times with fish and our tank. Highly recommend!!

They came to my house for my daughter's birthday and they were amazing. They were very friendly, great with young kids and I would recommend 100 %. I can't wait to have another party to have them come back. Can't say enough good things about this business.

Amazing reptile store, very informative staff on all things animals. The vast array of that are in their care in that store and so well taken care of. Best reptile store in the North!

Great store and even better education area. All 4 of our girls absolutely loved seeing all the reptiles and animals and hearing their different stories. Highly recommend checking these guys out! Their educational area is full of rescue animals taken in by the owner and all proceeds from the admission price goes to keeping the rescue operating.
