Really great find! The food was all wonderful (we had karaage, gyoza, shoyu ramen that we were able to split into two bowls, and the milk tea deep fried ice cream which was DELICIOUS, try it while they still have it :) ) and our server was great + funny to boot! We arrived at ~6:10 on a Saturday night and only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table, although it remained quite full until we left, so might be better to come earlier and get a spot :)

Lovely setting and dining environment, good service and disappointing food. Black garlic ramen is disappointing, soup is a mix of miso soup and black garlic oil. Egg on top is normal half boiled egg. Ramen is tasteless. Fried pork cutlets is dry, not juicy or rich at all. Same as fried chicken cutlets. Okonomiyaki is the best out of all we have ordered. Service is really good and staff is friendly.

Probably the cutest weeb restaurant in town. Excellent service and atmosphere but only certain items on the menu are worth getting. Out of the 4 items we tried, only 2 were good.Karage 8.5/10 $12Wasabi fried shrimp 4/10 (soggy and felt like it was reheated from frozen) $15 (overpriced)Miso black ramen 8/10 $16Tonkatsu Don 4.5/10 (pork was very dry) $16Service 9/10Atmosphere 9.5/10Price: 7/10 (mainly for the ramen)I would recommend visiting for the very beautiful atmospheres but stay away from those two items. They offer to split the ramen into two bowls so it’s easier to share which is appreciated.

This is a great place to visit. Easily top 10 in ottawa as a must try. The customer service is exceptional and the food is delicious. Our ramen was great and the fried chicken was delicious. Our fried squid was authentic and the sauce that compliments the squid is perfect. I can’t wait to return again and I love the artwork on the walls. The ambiance is great and this is a busy spot so plan ahead. There is parking to the back and the entrance is to the left of the building.Definitely a hidden Gem!

First time at Kuidaore. Everything deserves 5 stars, the food, the service and the decor. We were sitting at a side by side table and it was the best experience to enjoy the food and talk to your friend. Food is delicious. We waited to be seated for about 20 minutes but definitely worth the wait.

I got the tonkotsu black ramen and the takoyaki. Both were very good, but the ramen could have been a bit hotter

Honestly I would rate this higher than a 5/5 if I could. Delicious food for a very affordable price. The quality is amazing and the staff were so lovely. Not a massive space inside, But amazing atmosphere. Definitely will be returning!

The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, while the noodles have an ideal texture that adds a delightful chewiness to every spoonful. Whether you prefer the Tonkotsu or Miso ramen, you're in for a treat. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients truly shine through in every bowl.In addition to the outstanding ramen, the appetizers at Kuidoare are equally impressive. From the crispy Gyoza to the flavorful Takoyaki. These appetizers make for a perfect complement to the main course and add an extra dimension of enjoyment to the overall dining experience. The service at Kuidoare is consistently top-notch. A great Japanese restaurant in Little Italy. It is small but the ambience inside is truly awesome. The food is fantastic and they have a large selection of Japanese beer, sake, and plum wine. This place is famous for its ramen but I also want to recommend their amazing Tonkatsu Curry Don and sushi. Most dishes cost around $15. Service is fast and they are willing to go the extra mile to make customers happy.

Honestly quite surprised to see such a high rating for this restaurant. To start with the positives, their atmosphere was great (beautifully decorated) and service was nice (but slow). However, the food was mediocre at best and the ramen noodles itself reminded me of overcooked instant noodles… The broth was okay but I have definitely tasted better elsewhere. The beef skewers were decent and I would say it was the best item I tried today. The chicken skewers were somewhat dry and lacked flavour. My biggest concern with today’s experience was that the restaurant was so hot that I felt like I was sitting in a sauna. You would think that in 30+ degrees weather, they would turn on the AC or at least have some fans. I was sweating nonstop and I really think they need to figure out their temperature situation because I felt cooler outside (in the sun) than indoors.
