CARHAN SPRINGERS

We have two wonderful dogs from Carhan. One is now 7 years old and our newest addition is now almost 2 years old. Both of them have amazing temperament and good health. They are amazing family dogs and exactly what we were looking for. We’ll definitely visit Carhan again in the future.

Purchased a puppy from these breeders, first vet visit it was determined the puppy had a pretty bad heart murmur. Vet said the murmur could heal on its own. Second Vet visit it was determined the puppy had a heart defect and it was going to end his life eventually. A month later - I had to put the puppy down as his right side of his heart failed. He was 5 months old. The breeder did not DID NOT offer a refund and his request was for us to bring the puppy back to get another one. This boy had stole our hearts. He was so sweet and well mannered and just such a loving lil guy. My two children and I wanted to have him cremated and have us by his side while he took his last breaths. We refused to bring him back and decided to keep him at the end of his life. My children were so heartbroken. The breeders were terrible to deal with and even went to the extent of calling our vet as they didn't believe the poor babes had this problem. I am a single mom who saved for quite sometime to get this guy and drove over 5 hrs to pick him up and get him home. The state of their dogs are not that great and they seem to be way overbreeding. Anyways, I would not recommend this place to purchase a puppy from. Very unprofessional, and money hungry. This was the worst animal experience of my life.

I have an almost 5 year old male English Springer spaniel from carhan and have to compliment them on giving us the best family dog!Gibson is amazing with my 2 year old son, loves the outdoors, loves dock diving, camping, running around in the mud and “stealing snacks”! He tests our patience’s daily, loves everyone he meets, and is the perfect example of the Springers devoted personality with the energy to keep me motivated.He has enjoyed and tolerated all my crazy tricks and classes (obedience, nosework, dock diving), the most interesting travel companion, extremely food motivated, ball obsessed and all round happy healthy boy who lives to please and make us smile.Thankful everyday for him and that we live so close to carhan! Hopefully one day we can bring another carhan pup into our home!

We have owned 2 Carhan springers so far. Our first lived until he was 11 years old, such wonderful, smart and loving family dogs. No health issues at all until the last month of his life, and issues he had were common among many different breeds his age. We are waiting for our 3rd pup. I would highly recommend.

I’m not sure what’s going on here. My Pearl is 14 months with a serious murmur and an enlarged heart. I was also dismissed when I approached them with this. We can’t get her spayed in fear of her heart giving out. She’s such a beautiful girl. I hoped she live a long healthy life. These posts are heartbreaking.

Curious if all 3 commenters who's dogs had heart rumors were from the same litter. One comment listed George and Rose as the parents which I believe would have been the same litter we got our dog from. She's a wonderful dog , but now I have some concerns and will ask the vet to check next time she goes in.

At 7 months of age, we lost our puppy ( Parents Rose and George June 5 litter) due to a heart issue. She went to be spayed. All blood tests were normal. Surgery went well. Lyla did not wake up from surgery. Her heart rate dropped and then stopped. Despite CPR and other measures, she could not be revived. It has been heart breaking. Within the last ten months of this post, there have been two other heart issues in Carhan Springers. Do your research. I wouldn't recommend this breeder.

We received a Carhan Springer as a rescue dog. He was born Dec.24/21. One of his dew claws wasn't removed, which is very odd. We had him for 10 months. Suddenly, he went from a loving puppy, to an enraged dog. We had to call Animal Control to surrender him. He lunged at my hubby and tried to bite his leg. Then he went after our 10 year old Springer. Animal Control had to sedate him to take him to the shelter. Apparently he calmed down, during the evening.Then, the next morning, the Rage had returned. The poor boy had to be euthanized. We were completely devastated. After reading the reviews, I must agree that there are definately issues with this breeder. I had only heard of Springer Rage. It is real, and it is terrifying. I would NOT recommend this breeder.

They are the best. Update Odi is a healthy handsome boy we got him 20 months ago, he is a very calm well behaved dog. We got a very nice family dog. Thanks.

The Frasers know their dogs! Every single dog on site was happy and friendly. We picked up our new puppy a week ago, she wa s only 7 weeks old, and everything is going very well.
