Lumberworld is the epitome of the local hardware store that gives you everything a larger chain offers.Great selection, decent pricing, friendly staff and great access/location.Hey have a decent membership benefit program and good sales - competitive even compared to other stores.Worth your while

Asked if they had block planes, and was met with “You know what a block plane is?!”Once we got to the selection, he showed me two options, which I made clear were what I was looking for, but proceeded to show me the miniature version if I wanted a “cute” planer. As a younger woman this was a very frustrating interaction. Do better.

Way overpriced compared to other similar lumberyards, zero help from yard staff, manager is a company toady who won't deal with issues that arise... Drive the extra 5 minutes to Castle on Bay or Cook, they will price match everyone.

Lumberworld has been my renovation company's main supplier for over 15 years. They are local, well stocked and service is excellent. They feature pricing to match big box stores and other competitors and hire people that have actual experience and understand construction and hardware.

Very helpful and friendly staff. When shopping for fence gates, the nice staff member gave me a tip to help keep deer from trying to jump over them – tie a few bright ribbons to the top. They don't like to jump when they're not quite sure what's on the other side.

Almost every time I go into this store I am treated with rudeness or an I don't care" attitude from the workers.I am a very pleasant person who always goes out of my way to be respectful and friendly to anyone I deal with in a store.A simple hello
