By far the worst place you can ever borrow money from. Especially if your a different culture they will treat you like you’re coming in to steal money. The ladies kept making different excuses, first it was my name not showing on the banking papers than it was not showing the direct deposit when it’s clearly showing. At one point one of the ladies whispered to her colleague not to approve it.

I've found that even when it's not that busy they still take a long time. I've gone in there and been the only person waiting and it's taken like half hour if not longer. They also need to train their employees better as there have been times when ive gone in there to put money on my prepaid Visa and the person serving me would have no idea what the heck they're doing.

The Company Discriminates Against People on Government assistance, They refuse To Cash any Government Check, Even Checks From the Government of Canada because The Government put a cap on The amounts they are allowed to charge for cashing those checks, They Used to charge outrageous Prices, which the Government Acknowledged was inappropriate, so they Decided to throw a tantrum, and refuse and Government checks, because they are no longer allowed to rob people. They should be ashamed of themselves. I think anyone Deciding to use this Buisness, should think twice based on there financial Morals.Also You can see the Buisness replied underneath my review, with a very close Minded scripted excuse" Government of Canada Cheuqes are Honered By the Government. I needed help in the middle of a pay week. I went to Money Direct and the 2 girls were wonderful. Kelly and Lisa help alot. Quick and easy with no real hassle. I definitely reccomend use this company if you need the help. Thank you very much ladies!!

Ive been a customer for over ten years i think I see so many terrible reviews ..Look all these places are terrible to borrow from but the staff that works here are phenomenal. I wouldn't want their job the stuff / people they are forced to put up with thank goodness for the glass EH ladies ? ... D.R

I just left this store and have never been a customer here, this was a terrible customer experience. When I was called up to the counter, I let the person know that I was new and had never been here before but was looking for a payday loan! I was asked 3 questions, have I been employed over 90 days, do I have direct deposit and how much I wanted to borrow. I said I wasnt sure, whatever I was allowed to borrow. She said she needed a number, I told her 500.. she prepared my application while I signed into online banking. Then she walked into the back for a few moments and came back and said we cannot give you a loan because you have x amount of NSF fees in your account. So the entire process about (15 -20 mins) it was never explained to me that they base their borrowing services off your account information and not a credit check. Needless to say it was a disappointing experience because the staff should have explained to me what their process was. If that were the case I wouldnt have wasted my time. It's of course not her fault I was denied, however, her demeanor was very unprofessional especially because she didnt explain the service to me.
