Qualicum Beach Inn
The hotel is newly renovated and very clean. We chose the Ocean View Standard Double Queen room. Our view was mostly of the roof of the first floor. The front desk staff agreed that the view from Room 204 is not really of the ocean but didn't offer to refund the (notable) price difference. I feel like we were misled. FYI if you're deciding between room types.

Travelled with our grandkids 5 & 8 years old .From the time we entered we received a royal welcome. The front desk host Robert made it exciting for the kids, telling them about the pool and other activities around the town . He whisked them down the hall for some little bathrobes to wear to the pool and they couldn't wait to get there .The room was clean and comfortable with a small patio to sit out and have a coffee and look at the ocean .The pool area was pristine ,nice hot tub ,pool not too deep but adequate. We didn't use the sauna. Change rooms were clean and well equipped. Front desk staff ,John and Lawrence also super helpful . The restaurant was nice ,quality food and staff .What a wonderful experience . Thank you!

Qualicum Beach Inn
We hosted a 90th birthday party with 165 guests. The hotel and the restaurant were absolutely top notch. The meal was outstanding in every way and the service was over the moon. Catering an event of that size is a big job. They handled it with grace and efficiency.The following day guests were describing it as the best party ever and using the word magical. The entire experience, planning, dining, and accomodation, was first class.

Came here for my wife's birthday, we arrived a little early but they were able to get us into our room right away. Room was very clean and modern. Out stay was wonderful and definitely will book this place again.

My wife and I went for dinner to celebrate her birthday. It was clear from the moment we stepped across the threshold that the staff was focussed on making our experience wonderful. The hostess, servers and bar staff all were extremely professional. It set the anticipation for a upscale meal!The meal met the anticipation! It was Crab month, so we started with a warm crab dip. My wife had calamari Caesar and I had seafood spaghetti. Each bite was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly.Every step of the meal helped make my wife's birthday very special. Thank you to all involved!

Hi,I recently stayed at the qualicum beach inn on a business trip. I have been staying there consistently for the last 10 years and have had nothing but great experiences. The hotels cleanliness has always been immaculate and the staff has always been friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The restaurant has amazing food options and not to mention the staff and patio are beyond exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone staying in the parksville qualicum area. I look forward to my next stay at this classy establishment.Thank you

What a beautiful hotel, I had such a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and modern, and I loved the plush robes and slippers they provide. I had dinner in the attached restaurant and the meal was also very good. I really wish I could've stayed longer!

Beautiful location with views of the ocean and sunset right from your bedroom balcony or the restaurant. Rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. The robes and slippers were a bonus. Especially loved the sauna, hot tub, pool and outdoor areas. At the restaurant our server Stefan was amazing. At the hotel Captain Jim really went above and beyond to make our stay special!! Can’t wait to stay here again next time I’m in the area.

Views are fantastic but the service was quite poor. Had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated in a near empty restaurant and they messed up both my partner and I’s order. When we got seated the hostess and server described the restaurant as “mayhem”.Order accuracy from the kitchen and wait staff were off. They also missed including portions of my meal and I had to request it separately. Wouldn’t recommend if you have food allergies. Generally poor service from the front and back of house. 2.5/5
