Helpful, friendly staff and THE BEST chocolates!

Chocolate is good. My experience today was not. The cash is right at the edge of the store. I had picked out some boxed chocolates to purchase and as the guy/girl (don’t know how they identify) with the blue hair was cashing out another customer, I simply walked around to wait behind them as would make sense and also wanted to see the other chocolates in the display case. He/she abruptly told me in a condescending tone “if you have items to pay for then I’m going to need you to wait inside the store” like I was already guilty of trying to steal or take off. Is there a sign that clearly states this? It makes sense to stand IN LINE BEHIND OTHERS WHEN PAYING, but apparently not at Purdy’s. GET A GRIP WITH YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS PAYING CUSTOMERS! You do realize that without us you would not have a pay check. So rude and condescending and all I wanted to do was wait to pay for my items and look at the display case. Why don’t you move your cash into the middle of the store then? No on can browse the perimeter/display cases without being chastised for having items to pay for? Get over yourself and be kind, you lost money because I would have bought more but because this guy/girl with blue hair decided to speak to me in a superior condescending tone, I only bought what I had and left. Never will return. Learn how to speak to customers with some respect.

Staff were very friendly and helpful! Great product too. Would go here again.

Not really impressed. Deals are not posted on the products. Employees are pushed to upsell promotions instead of having genuine conversation.

I had a craving for ice cream love it there

NEVER EVER VISIT THIS STORE!!!I wish there was an option for a minus rating because the fat employee has not been trained at all how to handle customer and help them with their chocolate selection. Very rude, loud and disrespectful way of communication

The staff are very attentive, personable, and knowledgeable of both their products and their company's history. It was fun stopping by.

Was just browsing, but recieved a friendly greeting... The woman came to my group of three and asked what we normally like (caramel). She got us a sample, and it was PERFECT. She noticed what we were looking at and made sure we knew all our options and got the best deal. Was a wonderful experience.
