Excellent service and attention from the minute you walk in the door. Among the best I have ever experienced. Many of your French bistro classics are available. Atmosphere and decor are very nice. I would say their meats (veal, beef, lamb) are well prepared however TOO MUCH SALT. Will return however will try something different. Merci.

Best experience in a restaurant in Montreal. The staff were patient and attentive, taking the care to explain all the food and ask about dietary restrictions. We were also the last customers and ended our meal near to closing time but never felt like we were being hurried or unwelcome. The fish was very fresh and not over cooked as tends to happen frequently, and the wine the waiter recommended went perfectly with the meal. Would love to visit again and try the other things on the menu!

There are so many nice restaurants in Montreal, don’t waste your time and money at Chez Lévêque. We ordered a sole which is the easiest fish to cook. Was served over cooked and without lemon… 60$! Service was amateur: warm champagne and no bread…Just don’t bother going there.

Nice spot, great food, friendly service. We stopped for their $29, two dish, offer, and it was superb. Will definitely go back.They have a huge selection of wines and other drinks as well.A patio is open for the summer, and bathrooms are on the second floor.

I had a delicious 4 course meal as part of the MTL à Table event. The waiters come very often to offer more water and bread. I definitely want to go back for their regular menu for more French cuisine!

this place is really good if you stick to the classics. the house specialty , les abats. mostly the weird things that you wouldn’t see at the restaurant. like veal brain, it was amazing, the liver, the rognons, all the things you cant go wrong. also the foie gras is best thing i ever tasted. great terasse,’cocktails r nice and good too. coming back 100%

The service was good once we were seated. But before that we waited at the entrance for a good 5-10 minutes before someone came to greet us. Many waiters/staff saw us wait at the entrance but no one bothered to come until a waiter told us to wait a bit more like 5 minutes later and we had to wait again. We booked a table and I strongly recommend it, but if you call them directly you'll need to give your credit card but if you go on open table it isn't necessary.The food was delicious. I had the lobster bisque, lamb shank and the lemon tart. I wasn't disappointed at all! My mother got the veal liver and it was excellent. It was one of the best we had. Very delicious.However, my dad got the veal kidneys and added a side of fried (+8$). The kidneys were delicious but the fries... What a disappointment. They were oily and hard. It was as if they fried it in advance and fried it again just before serving. Which explains the greasiness. We wouldn't usually mind since it's a side but we paid an extra 8$ for that. I expect some quality and not just old fries.Also! Please look carefully at the quantities and prices for the wine. Usually the price goes for a glass or a bottle. But there they have a glass or half a bottle... Therefore when we ordered a bottle they gave us a more expensive one since they didn't sold the one we wanted as a bottle. They had the same name at that except for the Cru" before which made it more expensive. We didn't notice until the bill came.Anyways

Service and food are great. Price is also competitive. We would recommend it. The location of the restaurant is also great, lots of nice and decent shops close by.
