Coffee + Vanilla Café and Restaurant
I’ve been around the coffee business for many years. I was in the neighbourhood and googled “coffee shop”. Vanilla popped up. I’m skeptical of small shops as most of them are not great. To my surprise and delight Vanilla is a hidden gem. They do their own baked goods and they use Oughtred (One of the best) coffee and absolutely top notch equipment. The cafe is sparkling clean and the staff is warm and friendly. Go to Vanilla!

Tried vegan scones, Avocado&cheese sandwich, Americano, latte, and Mocha and these all were great, plus reasonable price. Staff are kind and place is not too small or big but cozy. Americano is the best in this area: mild & appropriate acidity. If you prefer those flavors & taste but not as strong as Starbucks, you would be satisfied.

Coffee +Vanilla is pretty good. Carrot cake was good and location is very peacefulLatte cup sizes are a bit on the smaller end for something that's over $5, but overall place is relaxing

Neat place! My wife and I each had a chocolate croissant ,she had tea and I had coffee. Tasty, fresh, good service, clean . Good value and good taste! I did note that the sign said that they stop serving drip coffee at 2:00 PM ...? But a nice business and in a nice area. THANKS!June 2023.Sticky cinnamon buns are great. Lemon loaf is huge and great. Service was excellent service _ but I was disappointed the drip coffee is shut off at 2:00!

Be careful, this place is dangerously good. Nice interior with cozy and comfy vibes. Super capable staff and incredible selection of desserts and drinks. If you are nearby don’t miss this place. Cool seats in the back for a group to hang out.

I did not go in and order any food and experience the service, as I met a friend there and he went to the line-up to grab a coffee for me. As most coffee places can be, it is on the small side. There is a big staircase to climb if you're lucky enough to get a parking spot at the rear from the alleyway.If you aim for a parking spot along the strip at the street front, your chances might be very slim. It is almost always too busy there.

Nice classic cafe with an relaxing ambiance. Great for meeting with friends or studying.Usual selection of espresso drinks along with a large variety of pastries from macarons to croissantsYou can sit down and have coffee in a dish or have it to go. Coffee tastes like coffee and not water.

A relaxing coffee shop with very unassuming but God tier baked goods... I originally came here just to grab a quick coffee, since it was close to where I needed to be that afternoon, when a lone cinnamon bun near the register changed everything. I'm currently living in Surrey but have already been back twice since. I even changed Costco locations now because apparently a cinnamon bun" isn't a valid reason to my wife for why I NEED to drive to Coquitlam every weekend. Anyways
