Tuesday, May 2 at 12 o’clock a employee named Dori Cameron at the Barrie location at the Wellington plaza gave me the finger and I told her manager. Dori Cameron was lying to her manager about stuff saying that I gave her the finger and I was threading her when I didn’t even see her there at all this wasn’t good thing for employee to do to a customer to give the customer the middle finger and I am not very happy about the customer service I received some employees should not be working at this location if they are going to give customers the middle finger for no reason.. and I wasn’t even threatening her at all or giving her the middle finger I didn’t even see her there at all .. And she shouldn’t have a job. If she’s going to do this to customers this is not good for businesses. To have a employee to do this to other customers and call them liars and that this needs to be taking care of

I won’t be returning until they bring back dressing rooms, which I HIGHLY doubt they will do. It’s a really gross and annoying business tactic. You can’t try anything on so you’re expected/forced to buy it and try it on at home, but you don’t get a refund when you bring it back. You get store credit. If your store sells clothing, it needs dressing rooms. How on earth am I supposed to guess if something will fit me? It’s not like I can try on a pair of jeans in the middle of the aisle!! So stupid.

I like to go pick up Blu-ray discs but for some reason this place sells them more expensive than the store located on the south end of town in the old Sears store when I asked why they said we're different stores which is not a very good answer in my opinion . My understanding these items are donated and the only reason that I can see that they're charging more is greed especially if they're different store owned. So if you're looking for discs and you want to save money they're a dollar cheaper per disc in the South End Value Village so I recommend shop there! After all you can get brand new discs at Walmart for $5 in their clearance bin so why pay $5 for a used disc that you don't even know is going to work properly!

As frequent visitors to the Barrie location and longtime donors, we have been supporting their cause for decades with large donations. While we appreciate their decent selection of items, we believe that upper management should impose restrictions on buyers addressing our main concern. Our experiences at this location have been somewhat mixed, leading us to give it a two-star rating. The presence of resellers in the store has become increasingly noticeable and raises some concerns. While we understand that reselling is a part of the second-hand market, we believe there should be guidelines to ensure fairness for all shoppers. On several occasions, we have observed the same individual lingering at the back of the store, eagerly waiting for employees to bring out carts with freshly stocked items. This individual would often remove items from the carts before they even reached the shelves. This behavior creates an unfair advantage and compromises the shopping experience for others, who patiently wait for items to be properly displayed. It is our belief that management should step in and address this issue to ensure a fair shopping environment for everyone. Such actions might include implementing policies that prohibit resellers from interfering with the restocking process. By doing so, the store would be able to maintain a more equitable atmosphere that promotes equal opportunities for all customers. We have been dedicated donors to this store for years, but witnessing this behavior makes us question our continued support. If management fails to take action, we will be compelled to redirect our donations to a different store where such conduct is not tolerated. In conclusion, while we appreciate their involvement in providing a place to sell used goods our experience has been marred by the presence of resellers who engage in unfair practices. We urge upper management to address this issue promptly to ensure a fair shopping experience for all customers. Failure to do so may result in the loss of support from long-term patrons like ourselves and our company, as we seek alternatives where our donations can make a meaningful impact.

One of the best thrift stores. My kids love treasure hunting while I can update our wardrobe on a budget. The books are such a great price too- what a great way to encourage literacy

A bit intimidating and scary. A security guard with a blank expression is right at the front door .Looks like a cop. Wonder where he came from? The staff talked to him in a language I couldn't understand and he stared are my sons like they were theivrs or something. Very unsettling and intimidating prices high too.

I have found some nice household items and clothing for a reasonable price using my senior's 30% discount on Tuesdays. Regular price are high! Donation coupons and special email discounts help. Keep in mind they have to cover operating costs. They provide jobs and keep stuff out of land fills!
