Canadian Tire

This store lacks almost everything. If you need something go to the Lindsay store. The stock is poor and when i asked the staff about there stock they admitted they did not have a lot and suggested I go to Sport Check. They also suggested if I was not happy to write a review.

We have been in there about 5 or 6 times and we never receive helpful service. We were about to drop $1000 on outdoor furniture and no one was willing to help us find what we were looking for. Unfortunate that we now have to shop out of town.

Has almost everything you would expect/ need from a CT, but their customer service has gotten to be more like customer refusal. They give you a hard time and almost interrogate you if you are returning something and no longer price match, which is RIDICULOUS.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The item I was looking for was not available due to being out of stock. The website was not updated, so I made the trip for no reason, which was disappointing!Asking customers to look online is a waste of time if the website can't be kept up to date.

I bought a trolling motor just before the Canada Day long weekend it never worked didn’t even get it in the water I tried on 2 different batteries it started to melt one of them and my other trolling motor works fine on both batteries…tried to return it but I lost the receipt the website says they offer a receipt look up but when I asked the lady working if there’s any way I can return it without the receipt she said “No. Not a chance” didn’t even try to be helpful even though I have proof on my phone that I bought it…terrible customer service sold me a broken motor I never used and then told me oh well your problem thanks CT! Happy Canada Day Weekend!!

The 1st time we brought our pup to this location, staff were friendly and approachable and our dog did awesome saying hello to their staff and even picked out a toy. We purchased some wood pellets and training treats for the dog.The second time we were at this location, we met with a family that drove for hours to pick up a pup that belonged to them and was in our care. The staff in the auto department 1st approached the pup and scared it and left. A few minutes later a different staff came in and asked us what we were doing and was extremely rude and embarrassed the family we were meeting. The family then left with their dog and the same staff then told us he had called the owner and that we didn't have his permission to be in his store with our dog. He then asked me who I had gotten permission from. When I asked...permission for what...he accused me of being sketchy." We've never had an issue bringing our dogs to Canadian Tire and being that it was cold and snowing out I don't understand what the issue was. We will continue to promote and bring our dogs to Canadian Tire...just not the one in Pory Perry."

They didn't have one thing I was looking for, a lock box, a small solar panel, and a couple of other things. The staff member I spoke with was condescending.

Stood at the paint counter for more than 15 minutes searched for employees, eventually called the store to ask for assistance at the paint counter… eventually 2 stock boys canes to help and try to figure it…absolutely ridiculous not to have enough employees to properly function a store…

Typically I have great experiences here however today a young employee must not have been in the mood to help. They directed me to the wrong aisle for what I was looking for and said if it isn't there we don't have it. I ended up googling the store to find what i was looking for and what aisle it was in. No problem. Sometimes you just have to get things done yourself.
