St. Alphonsus Liguori

Great church to meet God and beautiful people.

My husband and I got married at this church in 2022. They have a hall behind the church that is part of the Knights of Columbus. The wedding and evening reception were all in the same location, which was great for our guests. The priest is very nice. Reception was easy to communicate with. The church was also able to live stream the wedding which my relatives in Europe were able to watch in real time. I have attended a few services, it's as exciting as a Catholic service can be. A very good parish if you are looking at raising your children in the Catholic faith.

Nice place to worship God, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. I’ve been a member of this community. For most of the time, I’ve enjoyed it. Last but not least, Fr. Jerry is a great speaker. His homily is always inspiring.

Great Parish community and vibrant Eucharistic celebrations!

I have been going to St. Alphonsus for the last few years. Since moving into Peterborough from Hastings. I find it to be a wonderful place. The staff are great and Father Jerry makes church interesting. He doesn't see bad in anyone or anything they may have done...and will go out of his way to make you feel better and at peace ...he is truely a god send! Its been tough through this pandemic....since going through cancer treatment..and my immune system presently comprimised ....I am a little scared to go ....but we do when they lowered the restrictions. ...and we read the weekly bulletin. We simply love going to Church for mass.Father Jerry is a wonderful speaker and keeps us engrossed. He is also such a great ambassador for the Church - wonderful for our youth who need an example.The choirs sing beautifully and it fills the mass.All parishioners are friendly and welcome you.I would definitely recommend attending mass at this parish.
