Rapid Valley
This restaurant comes highly recommended from people in the community so we decided to try it out. As you can tell by the five stars, we were very pleased. Service provided by Nicky was friendly and fast, portions were more than enough and everything tasted fantastic. We had breakfast (eggs Benedict and hubby had an omelette) but everybody else’s meals looked just as good. We will definitely be back.

We were here for breakfast. Huge portions, unlimited coffee, the omelette was staffed with lots of veggies.The place is easily accessible. It has a large parking, a small pastry shop and a gas station. The only problem is that the bathroom wasn’t clean.

First time at the restaurant with a friend, very friendly staff, food was great. Had the Bean and Bacon soup was really good. Bought the peanut butter cookies as part of the go to snacks/meals offered. Will be back again.

Went to this homey restaurant on the way back from camping. It was worth the detour! Thoroughly enjoyed my poutine and the coleslaw that I ordered with it was huge! The coffee was very good, the service fast and friendly. Two of my friends ordered the Farmer's platter and had to take some home; another ordered the hot roast beef sandwich and really enjoyed it. I can understand why this place was so busy. Take some of the baked goods located near the cash with you; I loved the date square I took home for later.

Updating my review from our most recent experience. Sorry rapid valley this is our last meal here. This place used to be a gem, the food has been unacceptable the last couple of times. The yorkshire was cold (literally). It came right out of the fridge and onto our plates. The gravy we recieved was solid, not a liquid. I have no idea why this was served. The mashed potatoes were cold and dry, we couldn't eat them. That's why we asked for gravy. The desserts were very old and microwaved to freshen" them up. Gross and a waste of $100. I'm not one to write bad reviews for small local owned restaurants but this place sucks.Original review: Good place to stop for a family meal. The inside has been renovated over the past couple years. Our experiences here are never perfect

Charming diner with very friendly servers and great food. We got the Rapid Valley Deluxe breakfast and it was great! Our server, Karen, was amazing!(Food photos taken after we started eating, so not the best representation!)

Refrying in burnt oil = pathetic food taste + vomits + no efforts to make the customer at easeWe visited with our friend on her recommendation as she frequently visits for fish and chips, so we went in with a lot of expectations and got highly disappointed. Everything we ordered was refried in burnt oil. On mentioning the burnt food to the server, the server also agreed that while taking it out it noticed something different in the color. But that doesn't that raise a bell in server's mind to get it replaced?Can't comment on taste as anything ordered was just ordinary or sub-standard. I had no plans to write a review but our kids and my sister vomited last night, thus a long review.

I tried the Carbonara and Wings. Sorry, they need a big improvement and it is not what I expected. The sauce is too much on the Wings while the sauce of the Carbonara tastes a little bit flat. May be their breakfast is good but their pasta is unacceptable.

The service is too slow. The food was ok. My scrambled eggs didn't have salt in it. After waiting for an hour and 5 mins to get your eggs preparation, it should at least be worth the wait, but it wasn't.
