Let me start by saying if you are tired of other places that have abused your hearing and other senses with blaring dance and other souless music, this is your place.Music is very retro and at a level that a conversation can be held without yelling.Tasty selection of beer and wine.Food is tasty as well.Service is always fantastic. For those who have commented that the servers just want you to hurry up and go, may I suggest it is because of you. This is the most enjoyable airport restaurant for me.See you again, Vino Volo.

This place is a nice surprise to find in the international departures wing of the Vancouver airport. The food is tasty and the service is prompt. They have several wines and sparkling wines that you can get as glasses or as tasting flights. They also have a decent selection of tapas style dishes and entrees. Entrees are light. Eating here doesn't feel or taste like airport food"."

I ordered the Pesto roasted chicken salad recently (Feb 12th, 2023)What came to my table was a bunch of greens from a salad container with a sprinkle of dressing on top. On the side was an undercooked what seemed to be a boiled piece of chicken with pesto on it. It was lukewarm and I did not eat it because I did not want food poisoning. The server was friendly but never came back to see if everything was okay. If she did, I would have asked for it to be cooked further to get rid of the pink. This was anything but roasted. It was not full so I can't blame volume for her lack of service. I don't mind the price of $19.00 for a salad but be sure to produce a worthy meal. I frequent the airport a lot and will never go back here. The people in the back need to go to a Food Safe course and get a certificate.I just saw a photo of what the salad was supposed to be on their web site and I was totally ripped off. To the management: time for some food quality control

Absolutely horrible. If I could give it a 0 I would, but since I can’t I give it a 1. The male server I had was incredibly rude! 0 table side manners whatsoever. On top of that, the beer was warm. Carls Jr. has better service.

This tiny pasta dish is $23 plus tax.The tomato soup ($11) tastes so sour and aweful. I think they didn't even bother to boil them but just heated a can of soup in the microwave. Definitely not a place to dine.

Ordered the margarita pizza, salad, tomato soup, olives, sparkling water and flight of white wines. Pizza seemed like it was a frozen pizza and was just popped in the oven. Tomato soup was like it was from a can and was thick and had a sour taste to it. Olives were really good and the wine selection was great. Service was okay. Expected food to be better for the price that we paid for 2 people ($100 after tax, tip)

I have never left any reviews in my life. However i had to this time. The worst experience airport food ever. I ordered Margherita pizza and a pint of beer. Beer was a little blend but it was not the worst. The pizza and the service. Oh my god. There was no basil on the pizza which is pretty important in Margherita. And i told the server there is no basil and he said oh its better on the side. Then he brought 3 leaves of basil. This is ridiculous and i would never go back to this restaurant ever. I paid almost 30 bucks for these.

Avoid the pizza. I did not have it but saw others. It's a sad flatbread that looks dry and disappointing, especially for the $$. The patron beside us sent hers back and I would have as well. The cob salad is expensive but otherwise decent- tasted good and good portion size, good amount of protein (chicken breast, boiled egg, bacon) nice selection of BC wine

It's surprising to find such delicious pizza at the airport.

The food was fine, the service was infuriating to a degree that I needed to write a review about it so my wasted time will not be in vain.Or server ignored our table - multiple times talking to the table next to us and then walking past us, and once he took an order, he never returned. Food took forever to come out, the table next to us waited 30 minutes for wine.Honestly when I eat at an airport, I expect a bit of urgency from the waitstaff, we're all trying to make a flight. No urgency whatsoever from the staff. Long wait for an order to be taken, long wait for the drinks to come out, long wait for the food to arrive, never even walked by the table. It wasn't even like the place was busy - most of the dining area cleared out after 15 minutes of us being there - the server either forgot about us, or was too in the weeds somehow to think to ask any other waitstaff to pop byI do not recommend this place if you have a flight within 2 hours.
