We got take out masala dosa and loved the taste. I would say it is authentic taste. Chutney and sambar were delicious as well along with the dosa of course. Very reasonably priced.

I was walking along St Catharine’s when I saw this place. And what a chance surprise! One of the best dosas that I’ve had in canada. Being from Toronto, it’s very difficult to get good dosas. Highly recommended if you want to taste authentic dosa here.

I love theri biryani. Always buy it whenever I go there. They are providing excellent dosa varieties. Their fish curry is yummy as well. A good Chennai foods are available here and we can easily fill the tummy for less money.

I had the best Idli Sambar. Not only this I wanted to try samosa but was skeptical since after I came to Canada had to eat soggy, tasteless and bland samosas. Then tried samosas here. Boom! That crunch, taste, spices took me over. Must try.Service was so quick.

This place is a hidden gem in Montreal if you are crave for South Indian food.Don’t expect any dine in space here because the space is really small. But the taste of dosa is so good and fresh.We also got the idly he made in front of us which I felt really good and tasted so well made.The uncle who works there is really humble and polite. For the dosa and Idly 10/10.

Me and mom wanted to eat some Indian food and we were not dissapointed. We ate the chicken biryani which was one of the finest biryani I have eaten even though I am from Toronto.. and we also ate a chicken dosa . the dosa by it's self was delicious and crispy...just how i like it .. The sambar and chutney were a hit and miss. it's a good take our spot but you can enjoy the dosa there while you wait for your food.. yummmy!!

Chennai express is one of the three quick bite food joints on St Catherine's Street.A great place for a quick bite, is halal & has a good selection on the menu, of South Indian food.We tried their masala dosa which was really good with crispy edges. But the sides of coconut chutney & sambar were just alright - we've had better. Nonetheless the flavour was good just a bit too watery for us.Their samosa is yummy & chai is great too. But the mayo-chilli side for samosas was a let down. It would have been great to have chutney with it.Definitely worth a visit if you're in downtown & looking for something tasty.

Worst Dosa I have ever eaten. Sabji inside dosa was tasteless. Sambhar was just water. I don’t understand how this restaurant is rated 4.2 . May be people have lost the tastebuds staying in canada for long time eating bland food.
