Kibo Sushi House - Rogers Centre
I recently visited Kibo Sushi and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the sushi was tasty and reasonably priced. However, the service left something to be desired. The server forgot to bring my miso soup and even included it in the bill. It's good that I noticed the mistake and didn't end up paying for it. Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was just okay - it felt a bit cramped and lacked any special decor or ambiance. While Kibo Sushi is a decent option for a quick and affordable sushi fix, don't expect anything too memorable in terms of service or atmosphere.

Bad service…I walked into the restaurant and felt like I was interrupting or imposing (didn’t feel welcomed). I ordered and was told 20 mins - came back after 15 mins - told to wait 10 more. At this point that’s ok, but when I came but the third time they ignored me … even though I said “hello”… so I sat and waited inside this time. Finally got my food! Food was good (sushi and tempura > teriyaki bento box). But then the tempura had LOADS of extra crispy batter in the box (see photo). What upset me most was how bad they were at serving me and the way they made me feel like I was making their lives worse by being a customer.

Been a fan since their other locations. Happy they’re now closer to home. The spicy salmon rolls and kamikaze roll are good.

I’ve had Kibo sushi at other locations and usually I don’t have reasons to complain about it. I ordered a crab pizza, sunny dragon and the kamikaze maki, everything was fresh and full of flavour. The pizza was very different from the other ones I had and the kamikaze was my favourite, nice and crispy. I love that they have the options to grab only 5 pieces instead of 10. Im the only who eats sushi at home, so that way I get to taste different ones instead of just one sushi. It wasn’t a busy time but within less than 15 minutes my order was ready for pickup!

While staying at a nearby Delta Hotel Marriott, I ordered it through Uber Eats and ate it. The staff pierced a hole in the corner of the box to keep the fried shrimp from getting soggy. The staff has a sense. The rolls were delicious with plenty of avocado, and the tofu sushi was really the best. My son said it was the best fried tofu sushi he had in Toronto. Sushi sushi was more disappointing than I thought, but it's average. Delivery went well too.

Ordered a maki tray and tempura for pickup on the website. We still had to wait 15mins after getting the notification that our order was ready. Give some time allowance when picking up online orders. Other than the longer wait time, this place has good value for money sushi in the south core.

I've frequented this restaurant several times and typically find the food quite enjoyable. However, my most recent experience left me feeling disappointed. I made the mistake of ordering a dish that contained an ingredient I'm allergic to and asked the server if they could make a new dish without that ingredient. Unfortunately, they refused to accommodate my request unless I paid for the original dish. I've never encountered this kind of treatment before and, regrettably, won't be returning to this establishment.

INCREDIBLE. I’ve never written a review before but it was THAT GOOD.The miso soup was delicious. I didn’t know soup could taste that good. Kamikaze maki was obscenely good.Super fast for take out. There’s a few booths for dine in with curtains you can pull down for privacy.Best sushi I’ve ever had. Not to sound dramatic but it might be the best MEAL I’ve ever had.
