Waited almost 45 minutes after we ordered and our meal came with cold fries and cold undercooked pink chicken. Our waitress was overwhelmed and rushed. We should have returned the food and asked for hot but we were in a hurry, (not to mention starving) and didn’t want to wait any longer… so we just ate it as is. It was the worst chicken dinner we’ve ever had. We love Swiss chalet in general but will avoid this location in the future and advise you to do the same

Awesome service from Paige. The restaurant was very busy because of the 2 can dine special. Paige was so friendly, very attentive and extremely patient with everyone she served. A smile on her face, checked on us and everyone else she was serving, a must for a great server. She interacted with children and treated every customer with respect. She has such a calm demeanour you’d think she was your family member enjoying dinner with you. We’d be happy to have her in our family.Of course the food was excellent! But have to say that Lisa, the manager, must be working wonders with her staff because they were all smiling and as efficient as they could be on such a busy night. Cheers to all!We look forward to having Paige serve us again and enjoying Swiss Chalet that stands the test of time!

I wasted 20 minutes trying to order delivery. Was told they couldn't find my address even though I live in the suburbs in Barrie. I gave the woman on the phone info about the closest intersection and she wouldn't take any info and basically said no delivery. So I just ended up ordering a pizza from Pizza Nova within 3 minutes and no issues finding my simple address.

We were able to do a walk in around 5:30pm, it wasn’t too busy. The service was amazing, (I believe our server was Amanda), she was very wonderful. We were seated immediately and were served very quickly. The food was wonderful, plated well. This location is great, and they are certainly one of the best restaurants if you’re looking for a casual outing, such as a family dinner, or a dinner stop-by. I included some pictures of our quarter chicken dinners with some sides, took them after we started dinner oops, just couldn’t wait!!

How disgusting! I ordered a quarter chicken and garden salad. The salad was a mix of shredded lettuce from the Harvey’s hamburger toppings. There were even bits of onion. If you don’t have the makings for a salad, don’t sell it.Of course, I was in the drive though so this wasn’t discovered before getting home. Then, I couldn’t even complain by phone as I was left hanging on hold.Where are your standards? Luckily there is another Swiss Chalet in town

What an absolute dumpster fire.We ordered take out so I was expecting sub par, not bottom level. I don’t even know where to begin. The spring rolls were so flat and misshaped. They clearly did not make them correctly and it showed. The wings were BARELY covered in sauce and they were over cooked. The fries were terrible. My festive Kaiser came with the tiniest squirt of cranberry mayo and a pile of stuffing so high it was overpowering, yet still bland. The rice I got on the side of my Kaiser was actually hard. Like it haven’t been cooked or like it was old and sitting in a fridge. Can’t really tell the difference. I also ordered two sides of veggies, one of them came completely raw. Not even a 5 second nuke. Literally raw. I will never spend my money here again. Holy smokes.

I have been going to Swiss Chalet for years. This has got to be the absolute worst location I've ever been to!! The food prices have gone way up and the portion size has gone way down. The rib and chicken meal with a microscopic portion size of coleslaw. Would have been less of an insult if they just left it out! Every time we come we have to wait so long. Tonight there were so many angry customers including one customer who almost got arrested for being extremely upset. I will never go to this location ever again. I'll boycott Swiss chalet all together. Worse experience ever!!!
