The Blue Marble Restaurant & Lounge
My first visit at this restaurant and even though the food was pretty good I doubt I will be back. The airport location is a bit out of the way but the main deterrent for me was the complete lack of ambiance. The restaurant is right next to a fairly busy walkway and has windows all around. I felt pretty uncomfortable with people walking by and literally staring into my plate. Maybe tinting the windows might solve this problem? The restaurant had more of a cafeteria vibe rather than a higher scale restaurant.The food...nice presentation, pretty good but nothing that made me say wow. The serving staff were very nice even when they were dealing with a extremely drunk and belligerent customer who was disturbing everyone.

One of the best restaurants in Winnipeg you can't beat the seasoning and the flavors the menu as well thought-out and very reasonable makes for truly unbelievable dining experience we can't wait to go back it puts other high-end restaurants in Winnipeg to shame with the quality and the presentation of the food

I stopped in to have a bite during an overnight layover while staying at a nearby hotel. It was a bit confusing whether or not I could seat myself, but the bartender came up and greeted me within a couple mins. The burger was spectacular and the fries were just right, i have another layover and will be coming back for it again! I had to ask for the bill but it was clear they were very busy so I didn't mind. They only had two people for a whole bar and 20+ tables...

Consistently great food and service! Every time we have gone here for dinner (I think this was our fourth time), the food has been prepared beautifully, the flavours paired nicely, the service polite and attentive, and the portions and prices impressive. I can honestly say that some of my favorite dishes I have ever had in Winnipeg have been at The Blue Marble. The atmosphere is very nice and calm, and I enjoyed the choice of music playing over the speaker while we dined, so that's a bonus. I will be thinking of that dessert for a long time: Banana bread french toast with apple cinnamon ice cream...mmmm! We will definitely be back.

Great selection of beer wine and spirits. If you’re staying at the airport hotel, it’s nice to have this as good option. Staff are really friendly and attentive.

Small plate of Stuffed chicken was the perfect amount for us and delish and the burger was tasty. Blue Marble always has a fantastic wine list which is appreciated and it’s usually quiet but don’t let that fool you. It’s a great place to stop, even if not travelling.

I really enjoyed this place. We went for the la poutine week but the menu is very nice. Good prices with a great atmosphere. Service was spot on.

Well this was an unexpected surprise! For those who want good food with exceptional flavor pairings and a vast & well-stocked wine room -- this is the place for you. Will be coming back many more times, I would recommend you do the same. Pricey but worth every cent. Thanks Brett for taking the time to talk wine with me, and Chris for the fast service.
