Not a very handy handyman. Unable to do the job he was hired to do. I hired Halton Handyman to hang 6 shelves in my kitchen and a mantel on my fireplace. The owner, Yasser came to my home on June 8th, looked at the shelves, mantel and all the associated hardware that came with them and quoted me $2627.25. As I cannot do this myself, I decided to move forward. Two months later, after delaying the start date, Yasser started the work. He told me he would be able to hang the shelves in a way in which they would tilt down". Yasser said this was due to the hardware that the shelves came with. He said the hardware was not long enough. I was not happy with the idea of my kitchen shelves that are supposed to hold plates and glasses "tilting down". Yasser offered no solutions to this problem

This was my second time hiring Halton Handyman. Yassar was extremely pleasant to deal with, aswell as his crewmen. Very professional, and I felt at ease having them in my home.I needed this service done very quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they showed up and got the job done. Very reliable, they told me the date and time they would show up, and they did exactly that. No run around, straight to the point, and affordable. They also did a great job painting our ceiling.In the past he did mudding and tapping for our basement drywall.. seamless! Very good job for that aswell.100% recommend!

After having a pipe freeze in our laundry room, we had to open up a good section of drywall and pull out spray foam insulation in the garage and our laundry room. Our plumber was able to re-route the pipes out of the exterior wall and take away the p-trap in the garage, fixing the issue. After this work two large sections of drywall were open with pipes exposed and without insulation.Yassar helped us close everything up. He added value in the following ways: 1) Built an additional bulkhead in the garage so the pipes could be better insulated; 2) Effectively coordinated with another provider to come and apply the spray foam and was transparent about the price, along with the pros and cons of using spray foam vs. regular fiber-glass insulation; 3) Effectively coordinated a plumber to re-install the piping under the vanity once the drywall was complete; 4) The work was well done. Yassar was always respectful of our house and time, and he completed the work promptly.Thank you very much for your service, Yassar. Your professionalism and company were much appreciated! Hopefully the next project we use you for is something we actually sign up for willingly;)

The best handyman ever! Professional, kind, on time...I cant say enough about the amazing job he did. I am updating pics as he is not showing the fantastic work he has done. It is hard being on your own and finding someone reliable and trust.

Mr. Yasir Irfan provided his professional service to install the Hallway Railing in our Condo for my wheelchair confined wifes . I really appreciated the service quality and quickness of the job that Yassar did in my home. I had a number of lights and he is a licensed electrician. I only read his great reviews when I called him initially and it was absolutely worth it. He was friendly, did an excellent job and was well priced and fair. I will recommend him to everyone and will be calling him again for my home needs.

It is very difficult to find a good handyman who will do repairs in Burlington. I lucked out in finding Yassar Irfan. I basically looked on Goggle and read the reviews. Yassar got back to me right away and we set a time to have the repair done. He showed up on time and did a fantastic job of repairing dry wall in my garage that was damaged due to a leak. It was a fairly big job and I was thrilled with the result. Yassar was very professional and great at communicating what needed to e done. Will definitely hire him againCarol Reid

I had a purchased a townhouse from Fernbrook in 2010 and didn't like their stain finishes for the stairs as they didn't match the flooring they had installed and liked. I was getting 3 quotes outside for staining the unfinished maple stair cases and railings in a 2 yr time span. I ended up going with Halton Handyman bc he had a good background in paint, wood finishing and staining. In my case, in about 2 days, he finished it and went above. 10+ years and now on the 6th resident, later and some shoe traffic later, it looks great still and is holding up with mininal wear. I still have the receipt from then. He also quoted quite a decent price and the untreated stair treads were untreated for about 2 years and footprints from my tenant and I (slight shoe prints). I didn't bargain as I knew the quote and the work required is intensive and I told him to do his magic with his team and the quote which was quite reasonable (in the middle of cheap and pricey, he followed through as I left a set of keys with him to access the areas when I was away. I told him/his company what I wanted specifically for stain colour. He and his company treated the place like it was his family or valued the business from client and his job was a level above honest, pretty much perfection. I look foward to working with these folks again and just waiting for some ideas from the wife or the tenant at my other property.Expect to have a great experience similar to mine.
