Worst experience ever! Barista refuuuused to make me fresh drink or give me refund after making me a HOT “ ICED “ latte. Tasted like warm water down burnt coffee. Disgusting, YELLED at me in front of my Daughter. Was frantic all over the place pacing back and forth just saying no no no refunds . It was the most bizzare and embarrassing experience. $6 wasted on a undrinkable coffee.

Owner or whoever was at the till refused to turn the loud music down, even though we were the only two people in the place at the time. But he did turn the music right off whenever he was doing a transaction, so he could hear what the customer was saying. Very strange.

So I feel like they took a few artistic liberties when they added the word “cafe” to their name. Having said that, I also feel like this place is still worth visiting. Why, you say? Salted…Caramel…Bourbon…Latte! Don’t worry, @takefivecafe only starts serving it at noon (not true) so you won’t have worry about feeling guilty when glancing at your watch. First time went there ordered a regular coffee, got a cold coffee and I said sometimes thing happens, second time same issue and third time I went there and I got a cold coffee again, asked the guy to change it and he said it is what it is and I won’t change it! Awful customer service, poor service and will never come back to get your cold coffees again.

This is a great cafe with great service. After a long walk through downtown Vancouver or Stanley Park, my partner and I always enjoy a coffee and refreshments as this particular Take 5 Cafe. It's one of our top three favourites around town.

This particular franchise should do better. I looked up a cafe near me that offers gf and good coffee. I walked into the place at around 11am and there was maybe 5 cookies and pastries on display. I decided to just order a latte. I saw the guy just pour it out of a jug? I asked, is this just coffee? He said no i made it fresh. However I did not see him use the espresso machine. He was very friendly however, sadly, I will not be returning to this location.Edit: coffee was not good either

Disgusting coffee. The milk cappuccino was extremely foamy. I only had half liquid in my cup. Coffee tastes burned. Seemed like the milk was foamed twice. I definitely don’t recommend. Especially after drinking extremely good coffee at parallel 49 this morning.

This Take Five is operated by a very sweet Vietnamese couple. Strictly speaking, the coffee is not as good as JJ or Artigiano, but if you're closer to Coal Harbour, this will do just fine.
