We needed the row of tall cedars in our backyard trimmed and tidied up. Richard was very quick to respond to our inquiry and gave us an immediate quote which was more than reasonable. He did an excellent job of tidying them up, exactly what we were hoping for and he also noticed some other trees on our property that could pose a problem to our deck before too long. He went the extra mile and retrieved any fallen down trimmings from our neighbour’s yards as well. We were very appreciative of his advice and service and won’t hesitate to hire him again. I highly recommend Southern Ontario Tree Service.

I needed a tree to be removed from my property and shopped around for tree removal services, many of whose prices we very high. Southern Ontario Tree Specialists was reccomended to me and I found them to be very reasonable and they did the job exceptionally well, cleaning up after the tree was removed. Very professional and trustworthy. They are very skilled and knowledgeable in the job they do.

We hired Southern Ontario Tree Specialists to limb a GIANT silver maple on our property. Some limbs hung over out neighbour's house and pool. Richard and Cody came and worked diligently and smoothly removed all the limbs. Chipped them. Cleaned up beautifully in such a timely fashion. Richard was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional and delivered a job well done. Both he and Cody were so skilled, not to mention friendly and polite. We are thrilled with the results and so are our neighbours. We have even had compliments from others on the street who say it has improved the look of the entire street. Thank you Richard.

I don’t normally review businesses but I felt I needed to let everyone Know about this company. I have used other tree companies in the past and this company was in the area helping out one of my neighbors so I gambled and asked for a quote for 5 giant trees to be removed form my property due to the emerald ash borers. Richard responded quickly and we agreed on a price that no one could touch. They arrived on time, worked extremely hard and quickly. They returned a second day and worked though the rain. Great young guys who are not afraid of hard work. Cleanup was great as well. Richard you and your time were worth the gamble. Thanks again !

These guys are great. I had a large (60+ foot) silver maple growing very close to the house. I had several companies come out to quote the job, and many had concerns with the proximity to the house and inability to get a bucket truck close enough. Richard and his crew skillfully removed the entire tree in tight quarters and managed to do so without touching the house - it was quite the show and very entertaining to watch! They hauled away all the wood and left the yard in great condition.

Best price I could find in the city and excellent work!! I had a 35 foot birch tree with 3 trunks, it was between 2 houses and next to a 40' evergreen tree. Richard and his team, were able to remove the tree with great care to the homes and evergreen tree, after removal, he cut down the stump substantially. Highly recommended!

Great price, great service! I had part of a neighbours tree growing over my roof. Richard and Cody were a pleasure. They did a clean job with the tree and cleaned up afterwards leaving no trace. They were great to talk to and happy to share their deep knowledge of the trade. Posted a before and after pic below. Highly recommended for all your Arborist needs.
