I am responding to Michael's review. My wife and I sat directly outside of the reception and the door was open, I heard the conversation at issue, yes, we could not directly hear the other party but we did hear sounds coming from the phone's headset and how the receptionist sounding stressed. I believed everyone heard it as it was a very long call. I also believed by the sound of the tone on the part of the caller and the responses from the receptionist indicates that she was being harassed by the caller. As for anyone smoking in the office, that is completely untrue. Also, no one was talking or receiving calls on a cellphone as well. Sir, please get your facts straight. I have reported your review to google. if you are going to review or comment, do so truthfully. By the way, no one would believe that anyone in Canada would smoke indoors at a medical office. I would suggest that you remove your comment.

This doctor advised me on what to do with pain in my ankle. He honed in on the problem and the pain subsided after I adhered to his suggestions. I had seen other doctors and medical professionals who were not able to help, but Dr Marchi honed in the problem. Amazing doctor.

I had a successful surgery performed by Dr Marchie (great work, thank you), however this 1-star review unfortunately has nothing to do with the Doctor. This 1-star review represents the multiple encounters I had with the receptionist working at this office.It can be a nerve racking time when surgery is needed, and this lady does not seem to comprehend how her poor attitude can negatively affect Dr. Marchie's patients' experiences.I had a post-surgery appointment booked with Dr Marchie. I live a long distance away from this office, so I politely requested to speak with Dr Marchie before my appointment to clarify one simple question I had. This conversation would save approx. 3+ hours and missing a day at work, rather than having to miss work and spend the day driving hours in the snow, just to ask him the same question that could've been asked over a simple phone call. Instead, she rudely explained on the phone that the Doctor cannot take calls because he's busy with appointments" (which is understandable). I then requested to have Dr Marchie call me AT THE TIME OF MY APPOINTMENT since this time was booked out for me

Receptionist is really rude and has a very bad attitude. She should not be talking to patients, or in fact anyone, in such a rude way.

From my husband -I'd like to thank Dr. Marchie for once again repairing through his surgery my right knee (total replacement) and my left foot bunion corrective surgery. My experience with Dr. Marchie has been nothing short of a miracle. Both of my surgeries involved areas of my body that were suffering great pain, stress and aggravation continuously with very limited mobility. It seemed like I had no relief from the pain that I was experiencing 24/7. Dr. Marchie took on my case(s) and brought me through the procedures where I had no fear or apprehension that I would be in worse shape or worse condition post surgery. Further to Dr. Marchies successful surgeries on my body, I would be remiss not to mention his right hand assistant Carmela who unselfishly has provided us with her time, guidance and advise regarding the procedures pre and post op. Carmela has been attentive and available to answer all of our questions for both of my surgeries. I am most certain that I would not have consented to these corrective surgery possibilities with Dr. Marchie if I had not met Carmela and been without her guidance through these procedures. Additionally, we thank Dr. Marchie and Carmela for working through the horrible COVID conditions over the past few years.

I am happy with the hip replacement that Dr. Marchie did. The physio was useless, so thankfully Dr. Marchie was very encouraging.

It was quite busy when I got there but Carmella, the secretary was very patient, approachable and professional. Dr. Marchie is very friendly and professional, taking his to understand the condition of the patient and giving realistic solutions without jumping to prescribing pils. This was my first visit to his office and he made me feel very comfortable. Thank you for a excellent first experience.

I have known Dr. Marchie and Carmella, his secretory since 2015. I have had a total Knee replacement with Dr. Marchie, this Doctor is beyond amazing and Carmella assisted me all the way throughout the process, from booking the operation, explaining the hospital process, everything, this lady is amazing, pleasant, helpful and extremally PROFESSIONAL.I am disgusted to see a review by Simple Man Clo. posted just 3 hours ago. I was in the waiting area (Jan 5, 2023) and I heard the entire telephone conversation, this man was just harassing Carmella non stop, I (as well as others) can hear his loud aggressive tone even from where I was sitting. No one should tolerate this type of behavior, it was a full office filled with patients waiting and Carmella, in my opinion, she handled this man" like a real professional that she is and still have a smile for me and the other patients after this rude encounter. Dr Marchie works miracle. I have my right total hip replacement done in March and recently my left total hip replacement. Both times I only stayed overnight in the hospital and was discharged the next day. When the nurse asked me what is my pain level from 1 to 10. I have to hesitate before I answer as I really do not feel any pain. He cares and takes time to explain. A very special and kind Doctor with good sense of humor. Carmela at the Clinic is such a caring sweetheart too. I would highly recommend to anyone who has hip problem.
