Koalaroo Preschool

I cannot say enough nice things about Koalaroo Preschool. It is a huge relief to know that my kids are well taken care of each day by a preschool that has very high quality standards. They treated us as if we were family from day one and cared for our children as if they were their own. I recommended Koalaroo Preschool to all of my friends and family who are looking for child care arrangements because to me there is no other facility that I would want to raise my children.Koalaroo Preschool is clean, there is a great backyard, and chef Steve feeds them a variety of healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Across the infant, toddler and preschool rooms they all have age appropriate curriculums.Our kids have the most nurturing and kind caregivers who teach them new concepts every day. The morals and values that Koalaroo Preschool teaches the children is by far more than I expected. The children are nurtured, yet taught to be independent. The staff is friendly and caring and our little one is truly thriving there.

Koalaroo is much more than a daycare centre. My 4 year old daughter has extreme anxiety issues so I was very apprehensive about sending her to all-day/everyday Jr. Kindergarten this year. Instead I chose Koalaroo Preschool because of their smaller classroom setting (and more attention to the students individual needs). The facility is very well maintained and clean. There are separate rooms for the younger children and older 'students'. There is a safe place to go and play outside after class and Chef Steve makes amazing meals/snacks for the children everyday which is wonderful. My daughter thrived in this environment and I know this was the right decision for her this year. All the teachers/assistants were so caring and attentive. If my daughter was younger, I would have definitely sent her back another year. We'll miss the staff! Thank you so much for such a wonderful first 'school' experience.

My Daughter is heading into her second year at this wonderful school and I couldn't be more pleased! Koalaroo has an incredible educational program and the progress that my Daughter has made in the last several months is astounding. They have a fabulous hot lunch program with incredible foods from all around the world and my once picky toddler is now eating a wide variety of foods. Can't recommend Koalaroo Preschool enough!

After her first year of school at Koalaroo I am so proud of how much our 2 year old daughter has learned at Koalaroo. This school is absolutely amazing, it is great to have a place to bring our little girl that I feel she is safe, in loving care and is have a great time! I have never had to endure the experience of a screaming exit when dropping her off here. The staff is absolutely amazing and our daughter has made a lot of great friends. I cant say enough about how wonderful Koalaroo is, we did a lot of investigation in finding the perfect school and after her first full year the hard work paid off. We found the perfect place for her at Koalaroo. - Thank you!

I can't rate this facility highly enough. My son is going into his first year of kindergarten with all the skills he needs to be successful. The teachers are warm and the meals are diverse and healthy. Highly recommend to parents looking for structured child care.

When we first started looking for a center for our daughter, we had a lot of reservations as we had previously been at a home daycare where the childcare provider was a family friend. After COVID, due to limited social connections and her personality, our daughter was very shy and afraid of every social interaction with extremely high anxiety in any situation where we were not there. As soon as we met with Annie, the owner, we immediately began to feel more comfortable about sending our daughter to a center, as this was not like a regular center. Annie has set up Koalaroo so it has a very personal feel. It is a safe environment for every child but especially the child who is having a hard time adjusting, and the needs of the child are truly met. Our daughter adjusted extremely well, and the growth we saw in her social wellness was amazing and directly a result of the kindness and love that was shown to her by all the staff.Our older daughter joined our younger one for summer camp and experienced the same caring and love and enjoyed herself immensely.Finally, the food is amazing! Our daughters rave about Chef Steve’s cooking – and as someone who encourages diverse food for our children it is so nice to have healthy eating habits and diversity encouraged well away from home. I can’t say enough positive things about Koalaroo, and will always highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for childcare.

We had both our children go here. They loved it; Chef Steve made so many different types of food that our children are more open to try new things. Annie was kind and caring to our kids. Especially our Autistic son. I would recommend this place ten times over. Thank you Annie and Steve for starting our children off a great path to open minded children. Koalaroo preschool is amazing. My son has really thrived with his teachers support, kindness, and love of teaching. My son was barely speaking at 2 1/2, and 6 months later is singing songs, counting to 20, saying his colours and is forming sentences. He has developed such a personality, has made friendships and has bonded so well with his peers and teachers. Koalaroo is definitely a top notch preschool, it has been the best choice for my son's development. We couldn't be happier!

More than a daycare, they are an extension of family. Annie’s dedication to creating an environment where every child is treated with respect and that is an expectation of them as well.We started our journey with Koalaroo when my oldest son Jack was 3. He had severe speech apraxia and was non-verbal. Somehow they managed to support him and his needs at the time while instilling the confidence he needed amongst his peers.The teachers. The food! My youngest Charlie is now 3 and has been with Koalaroo since he was 1.5 and this will be his final year as he transitions into JK.Koalaroo is not just a daycare, it is not just a preschool, during these incredibly important early stages in life they provide so much peace of mind that they are RAISING good little humans. My son has been attending Koalaroo for 3 years. Annie and Chef Steve have created such a wonderful atmosphere it only yields happy and joyous children. The lessons are constructive and built for each age group and the meals are amazing! Chef Steve has created a 2 month menu with meals from different parts of the world. My goal was to send my son to KBS after Koalaroo. His transition was seamingless! Thank you Annie, Steve and everyone at Koalaroo for helping mold my son into the wonderful boy he is today.
