Food was fantastic!! The patio is lovely. Service was good, but really slow. Took a long time to get order taken and over an hour to receive food. Thank goodness it was worth the wait. Tandoori chicken salad was amazing.

Food was okay, service was not great. Sat there for over an hour without food while tables who were sat after us were getting theirs. The hostess was amazing and greeted my son but felt judgment from others as he was eating with his hands - definitely won’t be bringing him back!

The brunch at Fireside Bistro is fantastic! They have a great little patio outside or inside seating in the lounge area or in their regular dining room.They have a variety of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. From waffles loaded with warm strawberries to make your own omelet or choose from 6 different eggs Benedict, there is something for everyone.I had the Oaxacan Benedict, which was served spicy Chorizo. It will leave your tastebuds tingling!

This place is amazing! A hidden gem in the city that deserves to be discovered over and over again!The food presentation alone is worth the trip.Please come support this local masterpiece.They honestly have the best Pecan Pie in all of Canada. Better than any other place I've been since getting to this country a decade ago.

We ordered take out and the food was fantastic. I had the Neptune burger with fries. The fish wasn't battered which was great and was a great southern burger. We also ordered the artichoke dip and it was rich and flavorful. My girlfriend had the buttermilk chicken burger and she thought it was great. A job well done! The food was made fairly quickly.

I absolutely loved the mango shrimp salad. My partner's waffle was excessively sauced but that's better than under-sauced. Cozy atmosphere, was a gorgeous day to be seated outside. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The servings were large, which my friends and I enjoyed. However my poutine was very dry and did not have enough gravy. Overall the experience was good, food didn’t take long to come even though we were in a group. The waitress who waited our table was very helpful. Overall good experience, however my poutine could have been better.

We arrived for our reservation and got in line behind a couple who arrived before us. More than 10 minutes passed, at least three staff members looked at us waiting to be seated but none said a word, no be with you in a moment, nothing. Another couple came in behind us, got disgusted and left. I approached the bartender and asked to be seated even if we had to wait to be served. He curtly replied “we will get to you when we have time”. I told him he had had ample time already and left. We walked down the street where we were greeted by a pleasant host, seated immediately and enjoyed a pleasant meal. Fireside could learn from that.

Fireside Bistro
We ate here on the patio in the summer with kids. Service was exceptional and the food was really good. The five of us each ordered something different, and every dish was excellent. They even whipped up some off-menu mocktails for us!
