There is simply no way that we go to Lakeshore Burlington and not have La Pita's chicken shawerma. Yup it's that good! We love how the shawerma meat tastes exactly like the one you get in the Middle East! The last time we were here there were boys making the wraps but today it was an all-girl team running the show, and they were awesome. They also have a great collection of Arabian desserts, nuts, spices, pickles, even fresh Gelato, and so much more. Like I said, whenever we're in the area, we make sure to make a stop at La Pita Halal Shawarma.

We have had several visits to LaPita in past few years now, and they never disappoint us. I would say they serve one of the best Chicken Shawarma wraps in town (or even Toronto and neighborhoods). My review would mostly talk about Chicken Shawarma wrap experience, since I just can’t think of anything else to order when I step in this place. The taste of chicken shawarma is authentic, the sauces they add are full of flavour and the vegetables that go in are always fresh. If you have a palate for spicy taste like me then I would recommend to ask for the extra hot sauce in your wrap. I never found this place expensive as every time my mind is happy with the taste of shawarma. They might be charging a bit higher than other Shawarma stores but the taste & bigger portion size makes the price justified. My kid loves the fries they serve. I found the fries to be good but greasy. My recommendation would be for Chicken Shawarma and it would not disappoint you. Thank you to the team of La Pita for making my every visit great with awesome Shawarma!

I was surprised when I entered. I did not expect to find these types of food here and of this quality. My visit was quick, but it will not be the last. I will visit it as soon as possible. Good luck.

Some of the best shawarma hot sauce I've tried. The servings are huge. The meals are a little more expensive than the average shawarma spots. It did take a while to get the meals so I suggest you order ahead of time. Overall, very tasty and flavorful food!

Very nice place on lakeshore, came here for lunch and they serve a variety of different things. we got the donair plate and the shawarma plate. both had a good portion of meat rice and salad. they mixed up our salads but not a big deal. took a little long (20 mins ish) to prepare in comparison to my experience. for the price the portions are good, and the taste is satisfying

I got their Shawarma Pizza first, and was extremely disappointed. The dough was good, but that's all it had going for it. The pizza was extremely dry, yes they give you dipping sauces for both Garlic and Spicy but that isn't enough to carry the Shawarma Pizza, it's just too dry whether it was not enough sauces or overdone I'm not sure. I feel it would instantly become better if they put garlic sauce and hot sauce on top of the pizza evenly after it was baked to make it not so dry, and have a balanced flavour.I gave this place a second chance because I was reading the reviews and heard amazing things about the Chicken Shawarma Poutine, and I was very pleased and surprised. It is by far some of, if not the best Poutine and Shawarma Poutine I've ever had. The fries were done perfectly, not undercooked or overcooked. Perfectly crisp how you would want them. The chicken meat was also very good. But what sold for me, was how amazingly the gravy and sauces complimented one another. The portion size for the price was also great. I will definitely be coming back here quite often for the Shawarma Poutine.Overall, the food is great, the only thing holding me back from giving it a 5 star, was how disappointing the Shawarma Pizza was. It was not good at all, but the Poutine was amazing, and I'm sure the other dishes are also great.

Nice, spacious restaurant. The lady serving (could be owner) was nice and gave good suggestions about their items. Decorations inside is nice, enough seats with privacy. Food was also good.

Open till 12 at night in the heart of Burlington. I went for a long drive and this place was my saviour that night.I have to say, the staffs treated me with impeccable hospitality. I had the veggie option. The soup was very hot. I enjoyed the rice portion. Affordable price. Looking forward to visit again.
