the staff at the desk were rude & did not provide any type of direction or assistance which is really unprofessional they could not answer my questions or redirect me nothing helpful at all

My wallet fell out of my jacket pocket as I was running to the bus stop, and someone retrieved it and brought it into the detachment downtown on 6th Avenue. Constable Gallagher helped get it back to me, and was really nice.

Prompt service, but I wouldn't recommend the accommodation's, The rooms aren''t well heated. Not a good place to spend the night.

Unfortunately this was the second time going in and experiencing but seeing a few others be treated very coldly. Not by officers but by the ladies working there, all except for one who was a bit more kind than the rest at the front desk if you’re needing paperwork. I was talking to the woman at the front about criminal record checks and she would cut me off, give major attitude (when I didn’t even retaliate back when it could be easy too), talk down to me as if I was supposed to know everything, just terrible. Luckily she went in the back but then another older woman came out and had the same abrupt, rude attitude towards two other young ladies trying to fill out paperwork and all.I get that you can come across all kinds of people, situations, and stress, but staff need to still take each case as something new and not bring a bad attitude into play. It made me upset that for people trying to work, live, and who knows what else here in a great city as Kamloops is - should not be treated in the way I was. Very disappointed and felt like I had done something wrong the entire time and it shouldn’t be that way when you’re simply asking for help...New, experienced, and positive people should be up front ready to help. Not ready to talk down to.
