Lady Needle bridal alterations

Zara is a miracle worker and I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs complex alterations for their dress. For some background - the shop where I bought my dress didn’t measure me correctly and my dress was too big everywhere - in the bodice, the waist, the skirt, the length. It also had a “see through style” bodice that I wasn’t totally sold on because you could see the cups.Over 4 appointments with Zara, she was able to meticulously take in and fit my dress to me perfectly. She’s very thorough - when hemming the dress, she measured each layer of the skirt individually to make sure the skirt was even and hit my shoes at the right spot. She lined the bodice of my dress in a sheer fabric that felt more modest but still showed off the lace details. She also would pin fabric and show me what the specific alteration would look like before she sewed it and made permanent, which was so helpful to make sure everything felt and looked right on me. I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my dress for the entire day of my wedding - thank you Zara!

I am so thankful that I was able to find Zara when I did! She fixed my wedding dress during the most stressful time of my wedding- 1 month before! It was during pandemic 2021 when everything was closed and stores just started opening up. She has a reserved entrance for her clients with a room that offers privacy for changing into and out of your wedding dress.Her attention and service is a 5/5.She was delicate, honest and that really inspired confidence. Her prices were honest and upfront. I highly recommend budgeting for alterations and spending the money you need for it.I bought a new dress, it needed to be hemmed and I added a custom cap sleeve from the existing fabric on the dress. She also made me a beautiful mask with lace from my dress.She recommended getting a bustle to which I regretted not getting because it rained on my wedding day and I lifted my dress for a few hours. So please get that bustle!!!!She fixed my moms dress and my maid of honours dress. I hope you can get your dress fixed by Zara, you won’t regret it!

Zara “Lady Needle” was so lovely to work with! Not only is she immensely talented at her job, she is passionate about it, and walks you through what the alterations process will entail so there are no surprises.I went to her recently to get my wedding dress altered and I’m so glad I did! She made sure I didn’t leave until I was happy with everything. Whenever I had a question or concern about how I wanted a certain part of the dress to look, she answered all my questions honestly, told me what was possible, what to expect price-wise, and how the final product would look. She came up with a solution for every adjustment I wanted to make, and she made it look effortless. She also has the calmest energy, which as a bride, is so reassuring. She even fixed my mom’s “Mother of the Bride” dress after a different seamstress did a poor job on altering the sleeves. Zara reworked the whole thing and my mom was thrilled with the final result.I was so happy with the final look of my wedding dress. Zara is beyond amazing. She made my dress look and feel like a custom dress (but not at the price of one) she completely altered my dress to how I pictured and more. She even had her own recommendations which was really helpful and calming as a first time bride. Her customer service was incredible. so professional and fast responses. Zara is phenomenal. She was honest and fair with her pricing and was able to get my wedding dress altered in such a short amount of time. My schedule was busy but she made it work with being able to see her and fittings. I would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone.

Zara's work is excellent. Her expertise and attention to detail are superb! She hemmed my wedding gown (3 layers) and created a beautiful 12-point bustle that really compliments the style of the dress. She also removed a bunch of tiny sequins from under the arms so they wouldn't irritate after long wear. She really took the time to make sure everything was just right so that it will be perfect on my wedding day. If you're looking for high-quality alterations for your wedding or special event, I can't recommend Zara enough!
