Extremely friendly and helpful. I was in a super hurry to get about 60 prints made for a funeral. They said an hour but got on it immediately to get it to me in 30 minutes as that was all I had time for. Also made a great recommendation for a quick frame too. Can't thank them enough for their caring. Process for getting prints was easy and quality good. Highly recommend.

This small business has been around for decades and when you walk through the door, you're almost overwhelmed by the sheer scope of all things photography.While camera shops, and online shops, are suffering a severe shortage of cameras, Frederick's has a good selection of used equipment and, in the world of photography, not all emphasis ought to be placed on megapixels alone. For the average photographer - whether you're using the latest model of mobile phone, or not - there aren't many of us hobbyist photographers who will be enlarging prints that would put the strain on those megapixels. Most of us share via friends and family, as well as social media. Used equipment is always a good way to go.Frederick's also has new equipment, so don't think it's just used gear that you'll find.The proprietor is friendly and knowledgable and willing to spend time answering questions and showing you equipment that will suit your needs. From cameras, lenses, filters, camera bags, etc., there is a wide variety to browse through and buy at Frederick's.

Tim is always cheerful and happy to work with you on anything photo related, but on a recent project he went above and beyond reasonable expectations. He took time from a busy Christmas season to provide tips, create special photo prints, make colour adjustments, and generally be helpful as he possibly could -- while charging nothing more than the cost of the prints themselves. Recently, I needed an emergency sensor cleaning for a shoot on the weekend. I arrived Friday afternoon and Tim said it's a one day turn around except weekends, which it was. Without whining and complaining I explained that I would return on Monday to have the sensor cleaned as I still needed it for Sunday. Tim graciously offered to have it done before the end of the day on Friday. He didn't have to and I appreciate his care for customers. I will keep coming back, as service like the kind provided seems to be disappearing. Thanks Tim!
