BEST SPOT IN TOWN!! Love this place. Located in downtown Cold Lake, this location is one of the best around. Whenever we go in there we are always welcomed by a friendly staff. The restaurant itself is always very clean and well maintained. With plenty of seating there are many options whether you would like something quiet, or something in the open. The menu is extensive and has something for anyone. The bar has a lot of options, including awesome OJs exclusive beers (worth a round or two). Some notable menu items are the beef dip, butter chicken, wraps, poutines, burgers and always the awesome sides. The daily specials are always worth it. Take out is available. Overall you can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend making this the go to spot in Cold Lake.This location also has a pool table and multiple TVs for entertainment.

Went out for supper with the wife hoping for the experience of old original joes. Greatly disappointed. The menu which used to have way more stuff was gone. A tiny menu has taken its place with a few appetizers and a couple burgers. I am sure this was brought on by COVID-19 but none the less is what you will see from them now. It’s basically McDonald’s now with big burgers that are bland. I ordered the onion rings for appetizer, haddock stack, mash potatoes, and Caesar salad. The onion rings were basically Sobey’s onion rings that you get in the frozen section. They also didn’t bring out the dill dip and asked if we wanted dill dip. Which was irritating cause of course we do it is supposed to come with horribly overcooked onion rings. They ran out of mashed potato’s which is Weird cause in the restaurant business you can pre make mashed potato’s. They were replaced with fries. Fries were good. The fish burger which was way over cooked! To the point there was parts so hard I couldn’t even chew it. It had a lack of flavour and although it was supposed to have tartar sauce, the tartar sauce was sparse which is sad cause that would have been the only flavour. The small amount of tartar sauce they put on it made the top of the bun soggy and it fell apart. I would normally say a messy burger is a good burger but not on a bland flavourless fish burger. The Caesar salad was the only blessing as it had real bacon pieces and the Caesar salad dressing was good. The waitress was delightful. Originally joes has fallen apart in my opinion it will be a long time till I go spend my money there again. Good luck to anybody that chooses to eat there. I support local but only to a point.

Clean floors and tables ,inviting atmosphere, friendly accommodating staff. The gravy is extra salty but the fries are hand cut and very crispy. The burger patties are nothing special just like regular frozen patties. If you want great fries this place is good at that.

Noisy but fun! The food is great and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is exciting. I enjoyed the buttered chicken while my husband devoured a beef dip. I would recommend this place, although it was easier to text my husband than to talk here!

Took time to receive order and drink was brought at same time. Chicken was OK, little too moist. Good cesar salad, loved the bacon. Excellent virgin Mojito, very fresh, light and tasteful.

Went for dinner, it was very poor service from behind the counter. The highlight of the evening was when the service lady had to keep coming out with all of the bad news.Situation was only 3 tables were being used at this time.Bad news items.1.Staff did not know how to make a black Russian drink.2. Customer asked for no garlic nor onion on his dinner. Answer was sure". Not 5 or 10 mins but 25 min. later; the server asked if he wanted no chicken. Lol

Well done Original Joe’s! Very good burgers that hit the spot for flavour and juiciness. We had the “grilled cheese” burger was an awesome play taking French toast and making a hamburger. The Kona is another winner with great sauce and packed with various overlapping flavours, don’t be scared off by it having pineapple, it works! We will be going back very tasty.

50 cent wings are good in flavour and size.Flavour options are limited to normal ranges that you would expect from a typical wings place.Red ale is pretty good; pitcher is only served for two drinks.Service is good and to go box is available with a decent size box.
