Black Brothers work impeccably fast, way ahead of schedule, and their deficiencies cover everything. My experience has been nothing but professional and courteous. Being a part of the Strata Council, there were no issues left unresolved, and we are happy to work exclusively with them for many years to come. Thank you Rob and team!

We hired Black Brothers Painting to restore our 26 floor high rise and townhouse complex. The work included painting, membrane and caulking. We choose them because of the recommendation from our engineering company even though they we not the low bid. We also took into consideration that they stated that they would complete the project much faster than the rest of the companies bidding and that they would do the project in stages so only specific sections of the building would be worked on at each stage.We were very happy with the way the project went and the final results. The crew was friendly and helpful (they had about 26 men on site). When we had a couple of issues they took care of them quickly. The strata council are happy to give them a full five stars and would recommend them for future projects.

Black Brothers Painting is a stand up company. Our exterior railing paint failed within the warranty period of our 7 story strata building. They went above and beyond to fit our building into their summer schedule to repaint these areas. The folks that came were really lovely and we so appreciate them coming to do the work during these unusual challenging times.

Black Brothers and the whole crew were awesome to work with, very accommodating, fast, experienced and most of all courteous. They did an awesome job of our building 5 years ago and patios/railings this summer. The best !!I would recommend them for our exterior repairs coming up.

Black Brothers did an outstanding warranty repair on our 7 story mid-rise balcony railings. Jeff, Marv & team worked fast and were very thorough and did all 36 railings in record time. Not surprised as 5 years ago BB painted the entire exterior of our building and it still looks like they painted it last month. I think the choice and quality paint was key. Originally we were extremely disappointed by their work but they responded to our first review in less than 24 hours and this is the reason that we are now giving 4 stars. Still cannot give all 5 stars because the whole situation could be avoided with better communication, and with better original work.

We just had Blackbrothers re-do some membrane and caulking work which a company previously did two years ago. The previous contracting company’s work failed in many areas.Blackbrothers had the manufacture representative review the work and test the adhesion and thickness and the manufacture as well as Blackbrothers provided a warranty on the work.We feel confident that Blackbrothers has done a good job and would be happy to recommend them to do your project.

When I was head of the painting committee for a large hirise & townhouse complex (135 units), we asked 4 companies to bid on the restoration of our building. This included painting, caulking, concrete repair and membrane. We choose Black Brothers based on the references we called & their long warranty. (We actually checked with references from as far back as 2010 to ask if Black Brothers had honoured the warranty, each person we contacted said they did!)The project was very large and had many challenges, however it went very well and everyone was pleased. The key to this seems to be having Rob, Don Black and Jeff, the Black Brothers, onsite every day making sure everything run smoothly. Great experience, highly recommend them.

During our restoration experience, the Black Brothers we're courteous and understanding of all our requests to ensure that our personal items were not damaged. They did an excellent job with all of the exterior membrane repairs and even came back to ensure that any major spots on the railing glass were removed. Very satisfied, thank you. (Would like to note that we would have given a 5 Star review but we didn't like the color of paint they chose )

This is my review of the company. Black Brothers Painting did an outstanding job painting our 36 home strata complex located in Richmond near Lougheed Station. They were professional from the beginning to the end of our project. I had excellent communication with Rob and the team throughout so we always knew what the status quo was. The quality of their work was outstanding. When I become the strata of a new building I will put Black Brothers first in the future. I highly recommend Black Brothers for any project you are considering.
