Cheap and cheerful sushi! We were visiting Vancouver and looking for a solid sushi spot. Amazing quality fish, affordable prices. Came quite fast as well. More if your neighborhood sushi spot, nothing fancy. Was busy when we were there but no wait for a table.Tried the combo sushi for 2 A and the sashimi appetizer. We really liked the nigiri and sashimi but would skip the special rolls next time. Fish is too good!

Sushi Nanimo offers generally large portions, and we mainly order their teriyaki dishes, either salmon or chicken. Although the product served is good, it's not of high quality as their competitors like Sushi High or Sushi Taku. The salmon for example is rubbery. Additionally, their prices have increased recently, and parking is difficult.

The rolls were tasty! Only thing is I ordered a dragon roll and there were spines in two bites I took. Nothing major and tasted great. The tea was great and there was always someone refilling. Pork gyoza, yam tempura, edamame, salmon roll, california roll were great. The classic rolls were good portion and reasonably priced.

This is the most excellent sushi we've ever had! We ate here twice in our weekend from out of town. They have the best sushi choices, prices are reasonable and the service is really attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Good service and friendly staff….I enjoyed a good Takoyaki after a long time. Really fresh ingredients.Their rolls are a treat…. So fresh and good.That can improve on looks of the food a little. Outclass otherwise

This restaurant can use some regular maintenance:- The handle in the washroom is rusty and needs changed.- The ceiling fan is missing the cover. It seems the fan hasn’t been cleaned in years.

The last time I've been here was back in 2016 and I have to say they went from really good to awesome!I loved the yummy yummy roll the most. The waits are long so I recommend to have patience and expect long wait times. The service is really fast and the food is really good. The value is also affordable. This is my go to place for unique rolls and obviously for my sushi fix.

This place offers an excellent balance between quality and cost. The price is very competitive and even lower than sushi gardens/towns that are generally considered budget sushi. Given the price, I kept my expectation low and was anticipating the quality to be similar to the other budget Korean sushi chains. However, sashimi quality exceeded my expectation and the quality of the rolls and nigiris were also very good. I'll be coming back again if I'm in the area!

Service was ok. Food was below average. We ordered Sashimi, Rolls, Takoyaki, Tempura. I was totally surprised by the Broccoli Tempura! I have never seen any Japanese restaurant would serve Broccoli as Tempura!! Overall still disappointing.
