Very, very nice personnel welcoming you in a charming old house with newer rooms and annexes on the sides. Beds are fluffy and the rooms (at least the rooms in the back) are nicely quiet at night. It is directly next to a garden showing on the sea.Room of improvement for the breakfast. They are transparent from the beginning saying they cannot offer a hot breakfast due to the difficulty to find personnel but this problem will not last forever anyway.Maybe they could do better with the price: the room was a bit pricey even for the high season. If these two points can be solved, the place is perfect!

First the good stuff. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When my wife discovered that the blinds on one of the windows couldn't be raised or lowered and was nearly falling off, they immediately had a maintenance person there to resolve the issue. They made suggestions about places to get dinner in Yarmouth. They smiled and were polite at all times. The room was relatively clean and beds were okay...not great but not bad. Now, the not so good. The motel (B&B) was a bit beyond its time. The shower in our room was about a 3' x 3' square.... not much room to bend over at all. The hot and cold water in the shower was controlled by very sensitive separate knobs. And if someone flushed a toilet or turned on the cold water you were scalded.... and because of the shower size you had no place to run! I mentioned this while checking out. This is a serious safety issue that really needs addressing before someone gets hurt. The shower size would be less of an issue if the water temperature could be controlled better. The bathroom contained the shower and the toilet. No sink. That was located in a small alcove off the bedroom (no door). The sink was tiny. No mirror over the sink, but if you turned to your left while standing in front of the sink you would find a mirror. Made it tough for me to shave. Not much else to say about the room except was very old and needed refurbishing. The bed and breakfast" was a continental breakfast BUT for another ~$12/person they would make you a very nice hot breakfast consisting of eggs

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at Lakelawn Motel for 6 nights because we were evacuated from our home due to a wildfire. The manager and staff were exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has lots of amenities such as a park to walk the dog, a trail up behind the motel with deer playing, a gas station for snacks, two restaurants within walking distance, and we really recommend The Dinner Plate (which is like an old fashion diner with great food and decent prices), and a laundry mat with valet service, also within walking distance. The rooms were quaint, clean and roomy. The hot breakfast they offered was awesome, bacon was perfect. The motel itself is beautiful with an old fashion charm. Considering the circumstances which brought us here, we made it our home away from home.

Room is cozy and comfortable. Big window with a beautiful view of majestic trees and water. Walking distance to waterfront, boardwalk, seafood restaurants, parks, and staff went above expectations. Will be staying here whenever in the area. Thank you so much Susie.

My family and I had to evacuate our home due to wild fire in our community and I was lucky enough to stay at LakeLawn, everyone was great and helpful especially the hotel Manager: Susanne, she was very friendly and made us feel welcome during our stay and she was willing to do whatever she can to help us during this stressful hard time.

I want to give a good honest review of this inn. The hosts were very nice and incredibly helpful. The room was clean however, things need to be updated and areas improved. The window blinds were broken and didn’t even fit the window so felt uncomfortable that you could possibly be seen. We had room #3.Quality of some of the towels were poor. No duvet cover on the duvet, unhygienic! No AC, no hairdryer. The shower stall was very small, a little claustrophobic!Paying extra for a cooked breakfast was definitely worth it, however the coffee was so very strong we couldn’t drink! If that’s how you like it, it’s a definite must!
