Bubbles (Bubble Tea & Dessert)
Great price, very friendly staff. We played it safe and got a bagel and a milkshake each. My boyfriend got a recess milkshake and was pleasantly surprised there was a cookie straw inside. I got a strawberry milkshake which was delicious. Could be more thick but I never specified anything, however both came with a generous amount of whipped cream on top! Bagels were delicious. Would recommend! Definitely coming back to try the crepes and bubble tea!

Nice place, looks like a decent menu. I ordered three teas (two milk bubble teas, one brown sugar bubble milk tea). What I'll say went right was the customer service and speed. The music is a bit loud in there but it was definitely part of the atmosphere. Decorating was well thought out, nice exposed brick-work on the one side. There was a large display of the various ingredients (candies and such) behind the counter which really filled the place in. The menu had some imaginative creations. The way the brown sugar bubble tea was prepared was interesting (the tapioca was heated in a pan with brown sugar syrup, it really worked quite well)The reason for the lower rating is due to the bubble teas themselves. All three of them were VERY light, as in it just tasted like water with a bit of a hint of tea. There was also no 'milk' taste to it, no creaminess at all. The sugar level was great though, lower than what I've had at other places. Overall it was one of the poorest bubble teas I've had.Typically I would email or direct message a place of business with any negatives rather than leave a poor review; but they don't seem to have any sort of website (aside from skip the dishes) or a social media presence. Phone calls just don't have the same effect as a written message, so I'm a bit stuck doing it this way.I'd like to go back to try one of their other desserts, but in the case of bubble tea (which is at least a once a week purchase) I just can't recommend it. I'm sure they do other things much better, but the first impression from the teas was not a great one. I've got a soft spot for small businesses, so I'm doubly disappointed writing this.If the owner does want any notes:I would recommend using a stronger flavour of tea such as an earl grey, and/or a higher concentration of it. For the milk; look towards using whole milk instead of what I could guess was 1% or skim.Work on getting a social media presence and/or independent website. If there is one, work on your search engine optimization. Not having a proper online presence makes it hard to take a business seriously now a days.I hope that they will make improvements, I wish them nothing but the best.

Went for a free waffle and crepe sampling today with a friend. Staff was friendly, menu has lots of options to choose from, and the interior of the place is cute! Looking forward to their opening and checking out their study room. It’ll be perfect for any students in the area!

Super friendly staff. Good prices for portion. Crepes are okay. Quick service. Can get busy during school year. Very quite, needs some music. Nice interior design. Free pool for customers.

was hoping this place would hit my craving and tried the slushy, brown sugar milk tea with tapioca and the basic crepe. Once I got it delivered (delivery time was also not worth it), the slushy was already separated and had half foam and half water. The milk tea tasted like water and the boba was bland and had no real authenticity to me (no actual syrup or brown sugar liquid, just literally flavourless). For the crepe, I’d say it was a lot of dough compared to fruit, not worth it if you enjoy simple fruits since it’s not portioned correctly. Again, had really high hopes and seemed decent for the price for what I wanted but I can definitely say quality is a no go unfortunately.

Was walking downtown after an event at the meridian centre. This store caught my eye, while walking by; went in and my husband and I both got milk shakes. They consistency of both were excellent, staff was friendly. They also gave me a stamp card for a free drink
