Excellent service, I forgot money in one of the pant pockets, was returned to me in full....outstanding. Highly recommend.

Edited: The owner and head seamstress of fishmans reached out to see if she could fix my jacket for free and was extremely kind and apologetic. She explained how she has spent 20 years building her business and is horrified at the service I received. I gave the jacket to a friend since it did not fit after the other alterations but to be honest I would give Fishmans on 17th a try as that’s where the lady I spoke with works from.Awful experience. I dropped off a vintage ski jacket, vest and a skirt for some alterations. To demonstrate how small the jacket needed to be, the employee at the counter put safety pins through the arms of the jacket. I also asked to have the liner removed. The vest needed some of the filling removed and the skirt needed a button. I was told a week to 10 days and let them know I was away for 3 weeks and would pick it up then. Someone was supposed to call me with pricing as the employee at the counter didn't know. No one called me and upon pickup the price was $130. The jacket and vest were not ready and I was asked to come back in half an hour. I came back two hours later and it was still not ready and I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Not only that, but the jacket was not sized down, the seamstress only sewed the few inches on each sleeve where the safety pin was. Not even the whole sleeve, just a few inches, the forearms and cuffs were not altered and neither was the body of the jacket. The lining was removed. I did not notice they didn't change the size of the jacket until I got home and tried it on. Absolutely horrendous experience and I do not recommend this place at all.

Good service, I recommend. Only downside I saw was there was no prices posted anywhere. Tried to search online, nothing. Went in-store, still no prices posted anywhere. Had to wait in line and ask.

In addition to the 17th Avenue location, I also have recommended the Garrison Woods location to people, as I live nearby in Marda Link. There are many seniors who use Fishman's Garrison Woods--especially those who don't need to worry about driving anywhere else. Same great quality as at other Fishman's!!!

The first time I used fishmans they had a few of the shirts done properly. This time they creased the lapel on my suit jacket and must have run out of steam while pressing the rest of my clothes. My one new shirt looked better when I took it out of the packaging. I took in 2 weeks worth of work clothes to be pressed (already cleaned). Now I have to iron everything anyway after paying $140.00. I will not be back.

Poor service. Avoid....because quoted me half what the cost ended up being and then refused to honor the quote. Did a poor job and had to re-steam myself.

Great seamstress at this location. Have had a few wool items shrunk during dry cleaning so I’ve stopped sending my woolies here. Great shirt service.

So, we had a hard time finding anyone to clean our outdoor patio cushions and it didn't dawn on me that a dry cleaner could do this. This was an amazing job done by a truly professional staff. I was amazed at the job they did which was really wonderful. We will be coming back every spring now to make sure we have these guys take care of our outdoor cushions. Thank you
