BIG shout out for WHITBY LANDSCAPING….We bought a house in late fall and wanted to perk up the backyard, (add greenery etc)….. we had the work done this Spring, in April by WHITBY LANDSCAPING.The whole job literally only took a few days!....which we were thrilled with because we’ve heard nightmares about some companies milking days for longer timeframes, thusly making the project more costly. The crew worked very hard from the start of each day to the end, barely taking any breaks.From day one, Dave was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with!We called him on a Thursday for a preliminary phone-consult, and by Saturday he was in our backyard going over the plan….. THEN…. by Wednesday, his fabulous crew were on-site and the project began!Here’s the work we had done:- Dismantled and removed 2 large old rotting garden boxes on the pool deck area- Filled in the large dirt area on the pool deck, (where the garden boxes were), with patio stones to match the rest of the space….which were BEAUTIFULLY installed by Blain, which gave us another very spacious area for cots etc- Cleared giant wild grass perennials that were taking over the yard- Widened path to pool equipment area, and installed lovely flagstone, along with a border of large river stones (thank you Brian et-al)- Planted at least 25 Cedars total, of varying size, see pics (we had already bought a few, and they supplied the rest….and they planted ALL of them)Dave, Brian, Blain, Steve, Tyler (ahhh sorry, forgot the other names that came on different days), the whole crew were super open to any slight position changes for the trees etc, they also had some great suggestions and ideas to tweek things as well.They were a friendly, pleasant, genuine group and were extremely reliable, as they showed up every single day when they said they would.They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day.They worked very hard from start to finish of each day, barely taking any breaks….. so we made sure to supply them with some munchie lunch food (and lots of ice water), to show our appreciation.We are sooooo happy with the result and would absolutely recommend them without hesitation, for the types of work mentioned above.Thanks so much guys!!!C & G

Dave and his team did an excellent job of replacing our home's old and tired looking asphalt driveway and interlocking brick walkways all with beautiful Techo block stone. His crew was very organized and efficient, completing the project in a timely manner. We are so happy with their creative and professional workmanship and the transformative results rendered to our home. They exceeded our expectations.

These reviews do not lie. Dave is very responsive and got me a quote within a few days. The quote was reasonable and the reviews were good, so I trusted they would do a good job. That they did! The crew showed up when they said they would, were very respectful and polite, and did a fantastic job! They even cleaned up the front garden which I never even talked about with Dave. Our backyard now looks better than the day it was first landscaped! :) Definitely will be calling these guys back for more work...probably every spring for regular cleanup, cause I'm super lazy, lol.

Whitby Landscaping did a great job replacing old interlock around our pool. I was really impressed with how careful they were in hand digging around the pool pipes. This crew worked really hard, was extremely friendly and responsive. I felt like they treated my place like their own. They showed attention to detail and commitment to getting things just right. My neighbor was really impressed with how well they cleaned up and that there was no swearing. When I first got their quote, I just about fell over, but then I got 2 competitor quotes and it turned out what they were asking was very fair. When I saw how much work they put into a top quality job, I ended up feeling like I got a deal. They started when they said they would, and finished on budget with no surprises. I would use them again without hesitation and would highly recommend Whitby Landscaping.

We are enjoying our new patio. Dave did a great job recommending stone colours to match our house and Tyler was absolutely fantastic.

Reached out to Whitby Landscaping last Friday about our backyard project, received a call back the next day and confirmed the project the following day. Basic garden cleanup, edging, tree trimming, mulching, flagstone (approx 550 sq.ft.) The price was reasonable, project started quickly (4 days after confirmation), and the guys who carried out the job Alek, Brian, and Cameron. The crew was very respectful of us, our property, asked questions regarding any fine detail and was 100% accommodating to small requests and adjustments to the original plan. We were very pleased with the final result (the cleanup was 100% as well) and would highly recommend Whitby Landscaping for any of your Gardening or landscaping needs.Thanks Dave.
