Where to begin to write about this amazing band…!As a member of my local Rotary Club and more specifically Chair of our inaugural Gala committee it was my job to source the entertainment. I spent quite some time looking for ‘the band’ who would compliment the ambience for our gala.As soon as I watched and listened to Switchbeat’s promo videos I instantly knew I had struck the jackpot! From my initial conversation with Jay, the band leader I felt that we made a connection and he fully understood and supported our fundraising efforts. From that first day of chatting right up until the night of the event and beyond I cannot express enough what a true gentleman Jay is. He follows up on every communication in a more than timely and professional manner and is very detail oriented.On the night of the event, wow Jay, Todd, Andrew and Nikki rocked it, what a class act! From the moment they struck a chord and Nikki began on vocals they had the crowd on their feet! It truly was a crowd, our guests were upwards of early 30s up to late 70s and oh man they barely sat down all night! Nikki has an amazing voice and simply draws you to the dance floor. Jay, Andrew and Todd are amazing and accommodated us in getting an all round selection on the playlist so there was something for everyone. The feedback we received from our guests was phenomenal and certainly added to the success of our event. Added to this, they are true professionals in every way possible.I feel the way in which we can measure success is by asking, would we work with Switchbeat again for our future gala events? Absolutely, I feel that Jay is like a family member and we are currently finalizing our 2023 Gala date to make our booking with Switchbeat! A partnership which I truly hope we will sustain for many years to come as we fundraise for the good of our community and beyond. Thank you guys, you did us proud!

We had the pleasure of using Switchbeat for our wedding a couple of years ago, and they DID NOT disappoint! Jay and his team played an amazing assortment of music, which we had a say in before the big day, and their talent was on full display for our reception.The band was incredibly professional and also seemed to be having a blast themselves, which only makes for a better party atmosphere.We would highly recommend using Switchbeat for your wedding, corporate event or party of any sort. We had the pleasure of booking SWITCHBEAT to perform at our company Christmas party in 2021 and two other times in the past. On all occasions, SWITCHBEAT surpassed expectations with their talent, professionalism, and class. This live band is the true definition of a genuine CLASS ACT. SWITCHBEAT always puts on a great show without fail. Perfect song selections, great sound, and a true spectacle for the senses. An absolute treat for everyone and your audience will love them. AHHHH WHAT AN INCREDIBLE BAND !!!! 100/10. Honestly I can not believe how incredible everyone was!!! It was truly the most magical time ever. They absolutely crushed our wedding. Jay and Kat were incredible to work with through the pre wedding communication. The pianist for the ceremony was gorgeous. The saxophone player during the cocktail hour was absolutely outstanding. Everyone just crushed every single song and had the whole wedding dancing all night. Jay and the other guitarist were shredding !! And the female vocalist. Wow. She was absolutely incredible. (I’m so sorry I forgot everyone’s names). I got so many incredible compliments from our guests that they had never been to a wedding this great because the band absolutely crushed it. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT THE BEST WEDDING EVER !!!! Truly the best day of our life we had sooooo much fun with you guys !!

Switchbeat played at our wedding. The 5 piece band (incl male vocals) were amazing. Great sound and professional look. Jay (on his own time) made a site visit to our venue and worked with our wedding planner to ensure we had adequate power for amps/lighting/ stage etc. Nikki has a world class voice and worked the crowd very well. From start to finish, excellent band and excellent people. 100% Recommend Switchbeat.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Switchbeat play our wedding in the summer of 2019 and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for fantastic live music for an event. They were prompt with responses in planning details leading up to the wedding and put on an amazing show that everyone loved. I hope we can have another event in the future that will be able to showcase their talents again sometime soon!

We hired Switchbeat for our wedding in June in Niagara on the lake. We were super happy with the performance and working with the band. The sound tech was great and helped make sure our wedding ceremony and speeches went well. The band played an awesome range of songs receiving tons of compliments from our guests. If you’re thinking of working with this band I don’t think you will be disappointed going with them.

What a band! Where to start? My wife and I booked Switchbeat for our wedding after watching a few performances around town. I play music myself (not as good as these guys) and I could tell they are a well rehearsed and tight sounding group.In terms of being a customer, the experince was 5 stars. We had the 4 piece group (Jay, Andrew, Todd, and Nikki) and all were so kind and attentive. Jay took care of everything from P.A., song requestes for parts of the wedding etc. We even hired a pianist through Jay for our ceremony music. Jay went out of his way to make sure all our bases were covered as we forgot small details, he didn't!Start to finish we had no issues, great music and happy guests. Jay was always available to answer questions (we had many). We would not hesitate to use them again at any other event.Looking for a wedding band? The search ends here! 5 + stars!
