I love Thrifties! This one doesn't have gluten free bread though but have gluten free other things which makes no sense to me. I go there for meats and treats mostly but would make it my primary if it had good GF bread

The departments are great, produce meats etc. and the staff is super friendly.However, you've a better chance of being hit by a Russian satellite than be there when the express lane is open, especially after work. So, unless your ideal shopping experience includes waiting ages to pick up a small number of items, maybe give it a miss.

Very expensive compared to other grocery stores. Kn addition, the price tags have irritatingly small text on some of the sales, and some of the sale prices are presented a bit misleadingly as you need a Scene card to receive certain discounts.

Ordered a Dinosaur Pal" cake from the bakery for my son's 2nd birthday and couldn't not be more pleased. Not only was it decorated EXACTLY as shown in the picture but it was absolutely delicious."

Great for convenience it's located close to house it's got everything I could want scattered in different areas I wouldn't expect and dangerously overpriced and many places, I'll definitely return to this place but only for random necessities needed without time enough to go to a more affordable store. I find it horrible the stores are price because you're located farther away from downtown and the cheaper stores. But we pay for convenience right our choice we will.

Today, someone followed my partner out of the store and stopped her on the way to our vehicle. He said it was to make sure she didn't steal something and said she had to come with him so he could search her belongings. He didn't see anything, made an assumption, and tried to detain her. She showed him a receipt and he left, but not before searching her anyway. Way out of line.
