I visited the consulate for passports extension today. There were several visitors for different purposes. I had 6 passports and got returned with extension stickers on it within 1 hours. These professional employees deserve more than 5 stars, I have used thier services for more than twice and I have never been disappointed. Just one small point to be observed, don't wait for your email reply or a callback, you will need to show up and deal with your problem first hand! But once you do, you are good to go.

I called this embassy to inquire information on Tazkira and passport a man answered the phone. While I was doing my best to speak in dari (my dari is not bad, I can solve my problem) trying to explain my needs he started yelling at me on the phone saying things like you have only been here for 2 years and you have already forgotten your dari language.. and asked me to speak in English language (what!! hold on a sec kaka jan, in case if you do not know let me tell you that I have not seen the face of my beautiful Afghanistan. The fact that I can read and speak dari gives tremendous happiness). The kaka was very impatient and I felt like he has some angry issues. He was very commending. A piece of advice, please do not judge someone without knowing anything about the person you're speaking with; please have some understanding, consideration and empathy, especially when you are speaking with someone younger and who is putting effort to speak their language. Vey unprofessional and discouraging kaka jan. Please consider including a team member who is educated on communication skills regardless of what preferred method of language one choses to speak with. The purpose of his review is to encourage positive change in your organization. Thank you!
