Dr Neal Shone and Dr Adrienne McKercher

I had treatments with Dr Shone at an emergency clinic and a follow-up at his office. Both times he was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. His bedside manner and compassion made a difficult situation a little easier, which I really appreciated.In regards to the two negative reviews: Maybe his staff may have messed up (or maybe it was her own Dr's office) but that is not a reflection of the Dr himself imo. And as for the other girl's body going into shock" (lol!)

Forever thankful, and grateful - I ended up in the hospital this past November with a 13cm cyst wrapped around my right ovary, Dr Shone greeted me and went over my CT scan and Ultrasound results at the hospital, he was so great. Dr Shone did my emergency surgery, he went over everything with me prior to and after my surgery. Dr Shone called me as soon the results came back regarding my cyst, and he also sent off something from my Uterus that he found while during surgery that didn't look right, the results for both were devastating as I was informed of cancer found in both my Ovary and Uterus. Dr Shone was so empathetic, and compassionate, he has helped me so much throughout all of this, and I am forever thankful for him. The front receptionist is also so amazing, she was always so helpful with getting me in and following up. Thank you to you Dr Shone and your amazing staff.

If I could rate 0 stars I would!I was referred to Dr. Mckercher back in June for an appointment at the end of August and I had called and confirmed immediately.A week ago (last week of July) I get a call from Well Health saying Mckercher is going on Mat leave immediately and my appointment is cancelled. The person I had spoken to ended up calling the clinic to confirm this info and it turned out that she wasn’t going on leave but that she just wasn’t taking new patients until january 2023. However, since my appointment was already confirmed, my appointment still stands.Fast forward to this morning (a week after sorting things out/ first week of August) her office calls me to tell me she had a medical emergency last night and that she won’t be back to work until the new year! What are the odds…And since they aren’t taking responsibility of sorting out a new appointment for me with someone else at their clinic, I now have to jump through hoops to get rereferred.Since Mckercher isn’t on RateMyMD then I’m leaving this here. I desperately needed this appointment and it seems like they were desperate not to see me. Will NOT be getting a referral to anyone else at this clinic as I won’t be risking dealing with this situation again.

At 37 weeks pregnant having a NST at the hospital it was determined I had to be induced that night. Dr Shone eased my worries and assured me this was what was best (this was my first baby) .. the next day after 2 failed attempts of being induced he determined I needed a emergency C-section. My husband and I cried and were quite scared, he was incredibly kind and took good care of me and baby. He performed the surgery a hour later and I had my healthy baby girl. I’m so grateful and happy that he was the dr on duty.

I got a referral for this clinic back in August to get imaging done. The day before my September appointment, I get a call and I'm told they need to reschedule. Not for next week or anything reasonable like that, but for a full two months later. I work out of town for weeks at a time so it's not exactly easy to just flip my schedule around on such short notice. But whatever, things happen sometimes, so I deal with it and move on. I figured this would be a one-off situation.So, I show up to my appointment two months later, and I couldn't even find their office because they've moved while they do renovations. They never bothered to tell me this, so I was nearly late.Finally, I get set up in a room after finally finding them, and they tell me the ultrasound technician isn't even there, and that they're going to have to send me for another referral to another office. Literally the whole reason for my appointment was an ultrasound and they acted like they didn't know about it.Avoid this place if you have the option to, especially if you have anything urgent to take care of.

Absolutely Horrible! Completely unorganized!Showed up for my scheduled appointment for 9am. Doors locked. I call, I knock I called my dr's office to make sure I had the right time and day. I did. I waited 40 minutes for someone to show up only to be told that Dr Shone isn't in on Tuesdays. They tried to pass the buck to my drs office saying they faxed over a new appointment date, which they didn't do nor could they find my new appointment date". If I could give ZERO stars I would. Very upset as I had to book the morning off work

Multiple appts canceled with Dr McKercher within the last few months. I don’t know how this is unacceptable. My last appointment was cancelled once again after being informed the doctor has picked up a shift at the hospital. So apparently it’s acceptable to cancel a full days worth of clients to take a shift at the hospital. And let me stress, This was my fourth appointment canceled, how am I supposed to explain this to my employer? I prebook months in advance to get cancelled a week in advance. This doesn’t help me pay my bills as when I request a day off, I still have to take it off and I don’t get paid days off. I wish this doctor would take her clientele seriously bc some of us are coming in due to major issues

Had a mirena put in July 2022. I started having problems the last 3 months, so I asked to have it removed. She was very professional and was gentle removing it.I feel so much better now : )

Dr shone wasn’t my doctor during my pregnancy but he ended up delivering my daughter at abbotsford hospital. Thank god for him and his team. I wish i knew the rest of the teams names as well especially the doctor that got my daughter breathing again. Forever grateful to them all. My nurse Sefora was amazing as well

Dr shone placed a Mirena IUD in me and immediately my body went into shock. He looked afraid of my reaction & then he just left me there in the room. I couldn't breathe or move and I have never felt more pain in my life for the next few months. I had to get it removed from a different Gynecologist. Dr.Shone made me feel uncomfortable in our appointment and he looked more afraid than I was, of my reaction; which is scary when someone's placing something in your sensitive areas.
