The Wax Lounge

I always leave the Wax Lounge feeling like a goddess! Manda provides a thorough and relaxing wax every time and my skin is left feeling soft, clean and without irritation. I’ve been a client of the Wax Lounge for 2+ years and I have enjoyed all of my services - they are beyond excellent.

The Wax Lounge staff are always so welcoming and friendly. The space is relaxing and calm. Raine is such an amazing person. She always makes me feel so comfortable and I always leave my appointment feeling amazing! I highly recommend The Wax Lounge!

The ladies working had a very good attitude and i felt very welcomed. Manda did a great job and i felt very safe in the spa’s environment. Overall such a great first experience; will definitely be coming again!!!

My first experience was. lovely - minus the multiple missed hairs on my upper lip and eyebrow - but staff is very invested in their customer's happiness, and I was contacted to correct it the next day. As for the environment, I can echo the same as others here - it is very serene the moment you walk in. I would visit more often, but with my personally busy schedule, I have yet to return. I recommend booking well in advance, because dates do book up quickly, and that just speaks to the quality the team offers!

I have been going here for a few months for laser hair removal and could not recommend more. Raine is amazing and always makes you feel so comfortable and well taken care of.

I am so happy to have discovered The Wax Lounge! I have had Brazilian service at other places in Hamilton, but the energy here is so much different- so genuinely kind and relaxing. The Brazilian service with Manda doesn’t feel like an “in and out” service, but she cares about taking care of you and making the most of your time there. The room is instantly relaxing with candles and music (I’m not a fan of TVs lol.) and it feels very safe. She went through everything with me, offered me an eye mask to help relax, was very friendly (so I had some distraction from the pain haha), and continued to ensure I was comfortable. Thank you Manda for such good care! I look forward to making this my go-to place for treating myself to some self-care.

I've been coming to the Wax Lounge since they were originally located on Ottawa street. I love the new location and the staff are all friendly and professional and the place is extremely hygenic. I can't imagine going anywhere else in this city for my waxing needs.

My first-time experience here was excellent! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a serene ambience, pleasant aesthetic, relaxing aroma and a warm welcome from staff. Directions were precise and given with a gentle tone. Rooms were clean and properly prepared. Music in the room was a little too loud for my ears but I am an older client and prefer a notch less in volume and so this should not affect my rating for the service. I came in for a Brazilian. I will never use regular wax again! Hard wax was excellent, less pulling and more gentle than regular wax. Thankfully, the service was fast. Staff is professional and they keep a nice light conversation. I will absolutely recommend The Wax Lounge and will be a returning client. Thank you so much for an exceptional experience!
