my cat went into be neutered as there was a long wait at my regular vet they did urine tests and determined he had early stage kidney disease .. no one explained anything to me until after three requests the vet went over results .. i was told to buy him a special diet for kidney disease … after reviewing the tests done at PLC. My regular vet said she’d like to run some of her own tests as those tests didn’t seem complete enough to diagnosed with early stage kidney disease and the pain meds they had given him we’re actually contra indicated for a cat with kidney issues ..upon further testing, it was determined he didn’t have kidney disease at all and didn’t require the expensive food I had bought for him at PLc.. I went in to return the food and was told because there was less than half left They wouldn’t be able to receive a refund from the rep for the food so they wouldn’t give me a refund. I said the only reason I bought the food is because you misdiagnosed my cat with kidney disease in the first place and recommended this food … i’m very upset with the service .. they mis diagnosed my cat .. didn’t explain any of the findings til i had to ask three times for someone to give me answers when i picked up the cat .. now i wanted a refund they say no and said your cat had protein in it urine and it improved after eating the kidney diet .. i said no actually he barely ate any it was the other cats and i was told it was kidney disease not just protein in urine .. makes me wonder how many other cats have been mis diagnosed and put on a kidney diet unnecessarily..

I felt extremely ignored during our meeting. The vet didn't seem to care much about my dog when we came in. It was very short, even though we were there for almost 2 hours we saw the vet for only 10 minutes of that time. On top of that the vet was rude and dismissive.A different vet tech was the one that came in and gave me my dogs meds and even though she was extremely sweet and kind, she wasn't the vet and didn't know a lot of answers to my questions.We left completely unsatisfied and then we were charged for something we didn't get..

We drive down from Bathurst for the amazing service and friendly staff whenever our combative parrot's beak needs a trim. Would recommend.

PLC was highly recommended by a friend - when my dog needed an emergency surgery, our regular vet didn’t have availability so we tried PLC for the first (and after their total dismissal of the incident, last) time. They came to the conclusion that my dog needed to stay overnight and have a gastrotomy, otherwise the lodge could essentially prove fatal. The following day when I picked him up, they couldn’t confirm what the lodge was and stated that they hadn’t actually removed anything (basically, put my dog through an unnecessary, traumatic surgery for nothing). I decided not to get upset as it is better safe than sorry and the staff were very nice to us. We went back on March 17 to have his staples removed, only for me to learn within the last couple days (3 months since March) that staples were left inside my dog - rusted staples in yellow wounds with pus that had been hidden by his fur. I had to remove them myself and now will be coughing up another few hundred dollars minimum (on top of the thousands already paid for his surgery) with my regular vet who needs to treat him for possible early stage sepsis. And worse, my dog now has to go through MORE uncomfortable tests and treatments and pains. When I emailed PLC to let them know, they ghosted me and never replied (no, I was not rude or argumentative - literally just asking essentially how this could have happened and explaining what happened). If they hadn’t dismissed us altogether, or even simply apologized, I may have considered giving them a second chance. Unfortunately, not a lot of options for vets in this province. Among other things. Strongly recommend Waterview Animal Hospital instead.

I drive from fredericton to bring my dogs here! Literally the most amazing &caring staff! My dogs had multiple surgeries here from dental extractions to growth removals and I know my pups are in amazing hands!

Very empathetic staff in a emotional situation. They were incredibly helpful and explained every step of the process.

A long (but understandable) wait. Super kind staff. I had the utmost confidence and comfort bringing my cat in to get spayed. The staff were all very patient, helpful and clearly love what they're doing and the animals that come in. Highly recommend using them as your vet.(Also, there's two very cute cats that hang out there)

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this clinic. They really go above and beyond. They took excellent care of my anxious senior dog this week. Very knowledgeable on working with anxious/ fearful animals. I've never seen my dog react this well to a vet clinic or it's staff.

Excellent service and they make you feel like you can ask any question and not feel 'stupid'. They truly love all animals!

When we had to had my moms Dog to his final resting place the Ladies at PLC where very kind and compassionate. We picked up his ashes and there was a hand written card , nose and paw prints including a death certificate with him was really impressed with how he was treated while in his final minutes.....thank you Ladies .❤
