I have enjoyed working with New Era Real Estate. Prior to considering them, I was working with a traditional agent for the sale of my home. This agent was so fixated on a price that was not what we are looking for. Then came New Era, to be specific, the moment I spoke to Corazon Martin, it was a pleasant conversation from the beginning and she laid down her plan and went to work right away. They definitely exceeded our expectations and I would highly recommend. Thanks again Corazon, it was a pleasure working with you.

We were very happy with the experience of buying a house with our Agent in the last half of 2022. He was pleasant and helpful, and was willing to drive out of his usual region to assist us. In fact, we found exactly what we wanted the first time out. It was great. However we did not experience the same success with selling our house. After a couple of stressful months with few showings and no offers, we ended up listing with a local Agent from another real estate company. After that switch, we sold fairly quickly. It was at a lower price than the previous listing, but it was what was needed to move our property in that market. I’m not sure why we couldn’t sell with new Era. We took our Agent’s advice along the way. At one point there was a mixup and our property was not listed with all of the Real Estate Boards. But things like that happen sometimes. That was corrected when we brought it to their attention. Maybe New Era’s expertise is in the Toronto and immediately surrounding areas, and beyond that is more challenging. In a seller’s market, it may matter less who you use to sell. But when the market gets tougher, I think sometimes a Realtor with local experience and knowledge can be an asset.

John and his team worked very closely with myself in ensuring the purchasing process felt right and addressed any possible concerns or inquiries I had. In addition, their commission fee model can truly save you thousands of dollars. To me expert and effective support at a significantly lower fee is a clear winner out there and would refer New Era Real Estate for anyone in the house market.

I have nothing but good things to say about New Era. It was my first time listing my home for sale and they were very helpful from the start. My realtor Corazon was always available to assist with any questions and she really helped expedite the whole process. They made it possible for my home to be sold in 3 days for the price I wanted at a time the market was experiencing a decline in demand. You definitely get your moneys worth and then some, for the flat fee they charge. I highly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

I sold my house last month through New Era Real Estate and could not have been happier. The service provided was identical to the main stream realtors, but the commission was next to nothing. They charge $5900 flat rate for selling, as opposed to 2 1/2% elsewhere. On a $1,000,000 house, the difference is $5900 from New Era or $25,000 elsewhere on the selling part, with exactly the same service. And if New Era brings the buyer, the buyers part is free, making the total commission on the sale of your home, $5900. Its almost to good to be true but it is because I've gone through the process. My Realtor, Corazon Martin was exceptional. She kept me informed of the market, or any interest on my home. Even though the commission remained at $5900 regardless of the selling price, all I ever felt from Corazon was her wish to get me the best price for my house

From the moment we connected with New Era Real Estate, up until we sold our home above asking price, our experience was absulutely wonderful! Our agent Nancy was extremely professional, knowledgeable and attentive to every concern we had. I never once felt the typical high pressure sales tactics that commission agents tend to use. I believe that their flat rate model assures that their agents focus on customer needs, rather than quick transactions for the purpose of extracting as much commission as possible. Most buyer/sellers don't understand that sales agents from the Big Guys" don't always put the needs of their customers first

I'll start with saying we saved over $15,000 selling our house through New Era. Adrian was our agent and he was knowledgeable, professional and honest. New Era customer service was just as good as any other realty brokerage. The real estate market is changing folks, gone are the days where we have to pay massive commission fees.
