Lovely place to visit in Arnprior. Trail is short but you can take a few routes and pause in the meadow for a picnic. Guests to town love it.

Very pretty nature walk, especially in the fall. Definitely worth taking the time to walk Gillies Trail and see the woods.

It lost 1 star rating only for the owners who walk their dogs off leash. This is not a dog park. My mother and I were scared out of our twits when 2 large dogs raced up to us without warning. Owners not in sight. Please keep your dogs with you on a leash.

Lots of old and tall trees, it's interesting to see. One of them is apparently 130 feet. Very good trails, all the way to the water

Cool trees. Big, seemingly farmed a little. Felt like old Robin hold forest. A little bit more signage and trail markers would be nice.

An ancient old-growth forest with some trees dating back 250 years. Several pathways through the forest included access to a secluded beach/waterfront on the Ottawa River.

Amazing the old and high pines. The historical manor is private property. No trespassing! Gate to Simpson Park is locked!

it's super nice but unfortunately the site where high school kids choose to smoke, ruins the nice vibe of the forest a bit
