National Car Rental

Arrived at this counter at 6:15pm with a reservation booked 3 weeks ahead. No one was at the counter and it had a sign that said : pls see next door counter" which was another company. But there was no one there either. Sign said closed at 5pm for both counters. I phoned but I heard my own call ringing at the counter with local voice mail. Should someone have not let me book this reservation? Should someone have notified me of this closure earlier?"

Please ignore the previous reviews. They do not reflect the quality of this place. I booked a car for 1 day on Expedia and I got exactly the car I wanted for exactly the price I was told. The bad hours issue that was referred to has been amended.Originally I was skeptical based on the reviews but they simply do not reflect reality.Dean and Yev(I hope I've spelled his name right) are excellent customer service representatives. They went above and beyond for me. Answered all my probing questions and even made sure I wasn't unnecessarily charged extra. As a former customer service rep, I hold service reps to a high standard. These guys met it and then some. I knew that if I had a problem I could rely on them. National has an excellent team at this location. As long as these guys are running it my review is the only one you should pay attention to.

We were not expecting a great experience looking at the reviews but it was the opposite. Super friendly and helpful. Got much better car than we thought at such an affordable price. That itself made our day. Yash at the front end was really helpful and friendly. Happy to see a smiling face and really amazing service. Not expecting more than this. Wonderful experience.

The travel agency that books my travel accommodations booked the car for 4:00 pm rather than in the morning when I needed it. Ash found me a nice vehicle and I was on the road within minutes - Excellent customer service!

They gave me a car with bald tires in the middle of icy road conditions. I could not get ahold of anyone there the following day. They finally brought me out a vehicle in exchange and did sincerely apologize in person. They have redeemed themselves as good customer service, but they still need to guarantee that their equipment is safe. For that reason they will get 3 out of 5.

Ash & Vishal were pleasant, organized and provided great customer service. Arrived during the first winter storm and they were able to accommodate a vehicle with winter tires on the spot. Safety first! Thank you both.

Horrible experience.They are open from 9 till 12, it doesn't mean that someone is there from 9 till 12.After phonecalls and emails to the company that there is Noone here they assured me that my car is being cleaned as Covid is a real problem. Th le hey showed up at 11.54. Here is the list of problems I had:- they didn't have the car I booked so I was given different car- i couldn't find the car - I was just told it is on the right on the parking lot. After wondering another employee showed up and helped me find the vehicle- the car was dirty, no alcohol gel, no wipes nothing. As I was already late I took it as it was- I couldn't move the car as there was snow in front of it (over 14) and tha tires were bold and spinning- I went back to rental - the guy went back.with me to the car and also couldn't move it. He suggested the only car they have left -old Honda civic. The car ended also dirty

Excellent service from the minute I got off the plane and Ash (Kamloops National Car Rental rep) was very accommodating when the original rental vehicle needed to be switched out. Highly recommend going with national. Very polite people and great to deal with.
