Dayside Windows and Doors

Our entire experience dealing with the team at Dayside Windows & Doors was great. We are very happy with the quality and look of the windows installed. Excellent customer service, very professional and installation was completed quickly and efficiently.They delivered what they promised.

I looked at a lot of patio doors in showrooms around the area and to me, Dayside's had the nicest action and feel to the movement and ultimately that is why we went with them. The price was extremely competitive so that made the decision easy.The team at Dayside were fantastic, quick responses and always polite and punctual. Fitting was done to a very high standard and we are very happy with the finished product.

We just had our front door replaced. It is awesome. We love it. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, James and Jennifer and the installers were two thumbs up! Before and after photos are included! Thanks Dayside!

Our windows look excellent and the installation crew was kind, courteous and respectful – and they were quicker than we expected! Overall great windows experience!

Absolutely the worst experience with Dayside. We had our second floor windows replaced in the Fall. Since November, the condensation inside the windows has been constant and they are dripping wet. This has caused the windows frames and ledges to develop mold. We called Dayside, and someone came to take a look. They said it is because we have California shutters and to keep them open. We never close them! They also tried to blame the humidity level in our house. Our humidity level is at acomfortable 30%...which is below the recommended levels. We emailed and called to let them know that their solutions have not helped and that the condensation is still bad and that the mold keeps growing. It's actually starting to make me sick. No answer and no response. The worst experience and customer service we've ever received. We spent so much money on these windows.Update: we've tried contacting Dayside 3 times now since they've been here to inspect the damage and not a word back! How is this acceptable!?! We are trying to find solutions and speaking with the better business bureau. Do not deal with this company!Response to owner: Are you serious? You clearly didn't read my review. I had stated that we don't close our California shutters, ever, so we know that's not the issue. In addition to that, we have a humidity reader and our levels are always between 25 and 30%, no higher. This is actually BELOW the recommended levels. We know that this isn't the issue either.Please read my original review and do better with your response and a solution. This is unacceptable. If you own a business and your product is flawed, you find a solution to make sure your customer walks away satisfied. This is not a small purchase. This is something most people spend years saving for. Do better!------Update on February 23:We have NO shutters or window coverings on this window (pictures added after mold pics) and our humidity is at 27%. The windows are wet and I have wiped them twice already today.P.S. we had our main floor windows replaced by Gentek last spring and those windows are and have always been dry.I have spoken to three separate window companies to investigate and they all stated that this is NOT normal.

Hi Mike,Just a line to say that although we had several issues it all came together in the end.I don’t know of any other window company that would stand by their product until the customer is satisfied, you did and I commend your company for that.Not to malign the original installer but your techs do a much better job all around as they did with our basement windows and you should stick with them.If I return for more of your product I would definitely insist on your techs.Thanks again for seeing it through. I would love for EVERY home project to be the same as my experience with Dayside! Our home still had the original windows in place from the 1940's so I had every single window replaced. Mike carefully explained all my options and then put together a very reasonable quote with a quick turnaround time. The staff at the office were fabulous and flexible in helping me schedule an install time that worked best for my schedule. Now, if I could give more than 5 stars to the install team I would in a heartbeat! They took great care moving everything in and out of the house, put down drop clothes to catch any mess, cleaned up after themselves, worked quietly and professionally and - above all - did a bang-up and beautiful job installing all of my new windows in just a day! I would not hesitate to recommend this company and hope there are some new doors from them in my future ;-) Big thank you to the whole Dayside Team!

We replaced all our windows and a door with Dayside. The install crew were amazing. Polite, worked well together,cleaned up each day and did an amazing job. Really pleased with everything. The windows are outstanding. Noticed more soundproofing, easy to clean and work well. I would recommend Dayside wholeheartedly!

Had an overall great experience with Dayside, got all the windows and front door replaced on my home. The windows are clearly of high quality and the installation team was very professional and helpful with any questions that I had. Just one google strike..I was expecting to get a front door that matched the windows in terms of energy efficiency and therefore would be energystar rated. This was what I was led to believe when I purchased this. While the windows did have a very good energystar rating (and so qualified for the Canada greener homes rebate), the door did not. This was disappointing. The door is beautiful and well installed, but isn't as energy efficient as I would have thought appropriate for a new installation. Still, an overall great experience with Dayside, would use them again.

We recently had 15 windows replaced at our home. We would like to compliment the entire Dayside team that was involved in our windows purchase and installation. We received outstanding service from the very beginning from the sales department (personally we dealt with James), the friendly staff in the office, and then from the entire installation team. Everyone was professional, courteous and friendly. There was not one error in measurements as the installer was at our place for over 2 hours ensuring accuracy prior to placing the order. The installation team worked very hard and meticulously through the cold weather and always cleaned up all areas before leaving each day. We called Dayside on a referral from a friend, an interior designer and we were glad we did. We had had other quotes, but we were impressed with Dayside Windows' presentation and no pressure sales and the product itself. The windows look great!! We extend our gratitude to the entire Dayside Team and highly recommend them!!!
