Sam's Cheese & Meat's Ltd

I have been a customer of Sam's for 35 yrs. They have the best cheese prices, on the best cheese selections, in all of Hamilton. They struggled in the beginning of the pandemic, but after getting a vast education in the early stages and employeeing an employee who has a debilitating Autoimmune Disease and on Immune Suppressing meds, they have completely done a 360. All staff wear face shields, and they have put shields around the entire stand. They are not the only ones in the market only wearing face shields, but they are the only ones who have completely encased their stand, to protect themselves and customers. They have served the community of Hamilton for 65 yrs. Its sad to see so many businesses close within the market since the pandemic began. I will continue to support the remaining ones no matter what.

LOOK, BUT CAN'T BUY!!! My husband and I have tried to buy bacon there 3 times. Each time we have pointed to the selection of bacon that we would like to purchase and each time we are offered something else, (something more fatty). Last time we were told that if she gave us the selection we wanted, it would wreck her display. Talk about disrespecting the customer. We will never return, there are many other vendors who welcome our business and are happy to give the customer what they want. One star only because I had to.

I'm pretty sure I'm a second generation shopper there . I guess that says it all . Consider I'm a little difficult and little frugal however I love great food a lot . . Mufalotta sandwich any one ,,,,,,,,

It’s always a pleasure visiting Sam’s Cheese and Meats at the Hamilton Farmers Market. They have such a wide assortment of cheeses I always look forward to trying something new each time I visit. The staff is always pleasant :)

Today I went to farmer market and bought their muffalata sandwich , in the pic shows lots deli and cheese plus the muffalata mix , but when I opened the sandwich had only 1 slice of mortadella and 1/4 of sliced cheese , plus the mix, paid $4.99 and I can tell it’s is not worth more than $2.99 .. very disappointed as authentic Italian and 3rd generation Roman born and raised in Rome . Not buying it anymore there since I do not like this kind of unprofessional low quality business! It is sad to say that but it’s the true! Be careful of fake Italian places as CANADA is full of “ AN ITALIAN I WANNA BE” and I have been a google Reviewer for Italy and CANADA since 2007 it is my duties to inform customers about anything wrong , food related and my 755000 followers appreciate my strong knowledge of authentic food knowing that I will always say the true . I am a very proud Italian and I will continue to offer my service to who ever needed . Wow worst place ever! Three times in a row this deli made me the wrong sandwich. Wrong meat. Wrong cheese. Wrong toppings. I will never be back to this unfriendly useless place. BTW I WORK IN THE MALL SO GOOD LUCK GETTING ANY BUSINESS FROM US

I love it when you go to the Hamilton market, and the vendors talk to you and are enthusiastic about their products. I was able to find double smoked bacon just before Christmas. I bought exactly what I needed, no more and no less.Today I purchased old cheddar. There is a great selection of all cheeses, cold cuts and other stuff. I like it when they have freebies out to taste.

A staple at the hamilton farmers market. Lots of history and great meats and cheeses to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

I didn't specify that I wanted my meats and cheese slices thin, but I never have to tell them at any other deli I go to. Everything was hack job thick slices.Also no masks while cutting my stuff, which I didn't realize until it was too late. I won't go back here

Just visited today! Been a while since. We used to come every saturday today just found out the business is in transition of a business transfer in ownership sad to hear they have been a staple in the market and community. Hope nothing further changes! Because today i had a muffaleto sandwich wasn't the same!
