Explore Edmonton

I was at the Shaw center for my sisters grad. I went into a stall with my best friend because she needed help with her dress (obviously). Two security guards employed by explore Edmonton came in banging on the bathroom stall we were in and were looking through the crack in the stall. Luckily we had gotten our body suits back on by this point. Then when we went out to express our concerns with all of the security including someone who appeared to be the manager told us that she didn’t care about our concerns and that it made us feel unsafe. If I could give this staff zero stars I would. Unbelievably unprofessional and inappropriate. Very disappointed with explore Edmonton and their training with their security staff, and because of this ruined part of my sisters grad night.

I am quite unsettled by the behaviour of the private security employed by Explore Edmonton at the Edmonton convention centre. While my sister and her friend were assisting each other in the restroom, two security guards entered the room, looked through the cracks in the door, and verbally harassed them. Not only were they made to feel unsafe and threatened, but the actions of the two employees ruined the graduation event for them both.

Love Edmonton tourism. I travel that way often and always look to their amazing social media feeds for all the latest events and places to visit. They have great content and it is very helpful !

Edmonton Tourism is great at supporting local businesses. They are actively attending and promoting such events and products. Their social channels provide great content - they are consistent with their delivery and provide detailed information about festivals and events happening in YEG!

When I first migrated from the old country (Ontario) and managed to look up from the piles of oil cash for long enough to wonder what to spend my time and fortune on, I ran into a problem.I was a fish out of water in my new prairie habitat and once The Ranch lost its savour, I had to branch out.Thankfully I stumbled across Edmonton Tourism! Segway in the river valley? Check.Giant headed furry cows at Elk Island? Check.Guess what kids? The River is clean! Go ahead and have a swim.If it wasn't for Edmonton Tourism and all of it's restaurant reviews I would still think Kraft was the only outfit making Mac and Cheese (shout out to Otto and Meat)Not only will I one day have the opportunity to return to Onterrible and regale my contemporaries with the bounty that is Edmonton but my next weekend is already planned. Comic Expo? See you there nerds!Thank you Edmonton Tourism for ripping the shroud from my eyes and showing me what this city has to offer.

Even as an Edmonton native I use Explore Edmonton as my go-to source to stay in the know of all the cool festivals, new restaurants and activities happening around the city. Their posts are consistently interesting and informative while always supporting local, plus who doesn't appreciate a good sunset shot or two?

Great resource for past and upcoming events in this great city! I love their Instagram feed to see all the local photographers shared and to keep up to date, I always end up finding a reason to visit again after scrolling!

Edmonton tourist centre had been a great resource to find out new event's and updates on activities happening on the city. Love this site!!
