So Rick and Josh came to look at my furnace that was acting up,they took the time to troubleshoot, and fixed it without any new parts. This man is beyond honest, he could have charged me for new parts. I ended up ordering a new part to be safe come winter. I will wait to use Flostar and won't go elsewhere, you cannot duplicate honesty, integrity and an incredible knowledge that Rick processes! I unreservedly recommend flostar, for ALL PROJECTS, REPAIRS, MAITENANCE!!

We are very satisfied with the work Rick and Josh did in replacing our hot water tank, linked to our underfloor heating system. The quality of their work was outstanding. They ensured all pipes were straight and squared. They were very professional and respectful in their interactions with us explaining all work to be completed. I reached out to Rick regarding a water heater issue that we were experiencing and needed to resolve right away. After leaving him a voicemail early in the morning, I received a call back within 10 minutes.Rick indicated that he was extremely busy however, given the urgency of the situation would be happy to do whatever he could to help me resolve it.He walked me through a number of diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks which unfortunately did not immediately resolve the issue. Nevertheless, he was persistent in helping me attempt to resolve the issue as quickly and cost effectively as possible.After ruling out a number of potential causes, Rick indicated that I would likely need a pressure switch (a much less costly option than what I had received from another plumber). He even offered to call around to various suppliers to see if he could get his hands on the part for me, still acknowledging that he may not have the time to install it due to his schedule. In all my years of dealing with trades, I have never seen such a willingness to help a customer with absolutely zero monetary benefit.Rick called me back for a second time to advise that he was able to squeeze me in, due to the nature of our situation and his genuine willingness to help.In the end, he was accurate with his original diagnosis, which I failed to perform correctly.I called Rick again to let him know that we resolved the issue and he was overjoyed.Honestly, I don't know else to say as I have never witnessed this level of service (over the phone) with no financial incentive. He is a truly knowledgeable plumber but more so, a kind and integrity-based individual.I would highly recommend Rick and although I hope I never have to talk to him again, he will be the first call I make if/when we need assistance with any other plumbing and heating issues in our home.

The Flostar team recently installed a boiler system. They take great pride in their work and delivered what was promised. I wish all contractors took his approach… it was refreshing… you know the job was done right the first time. It was a pleasure working with the team, I know who I will be calling for future jobs!

Josh was super friendly, personable and funny. He identified the potential plumbing issues immediately before setting to work to get our toilets flush valve replaced. He made sure to clean up before he left too! 5 star service guys!

We had a large home renovation we did this fall and Flostar Plumbing was our first call. We had lots of trades in and out of our home over 3.5 months and none compared to the quality of work and professional attitude these guys have. I was away and came home the Thanksgiving weekend. My water heater was stuck on vacation mode and nothing I did helped. I contacted Flostar and made an appointment for Tuesday. I believe it was Rick who came, showed me what was wrong and advised me I could either get parts or a new tank. My tank is almost 16+ years old and I never heard of the make which could also mean they don't make the parts anymore. I opted for a new tank. Rick explained all the options of the tanks available for me. Water tanks are not cheap but Rick never pushed for me to buy the most expensive and gave me his thoughts on which one to buy. I appreciate gonesty. Was without hot water for a week. On Monday as advised, Flostar showed up with a new tank, installed it and Rick explained everything about the warranty etc with the tank.Josh his apprentice came to help install the tank. Both were professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. They cleaned up nicely after themselves and took the dirt with them. This was my first time dealing with Flostar and I will surely be calling them if I have an issue in future.I recommend trying them.
