Central Alberta Cattery

I decided to take a tour of this facility as I think it is a good idea to board cats instead of leaving them home alone during vacations. Last time I left my cat home when I went away for a week (friends dropped in every few days to check in) my cat changed personalities on me, becoming annoying. I looked into kennels but they seemed more Dog focused.I took my 11 year old daughter with me to view this place. The Owner Operator, Rob was more than happy to give us a tour. Although Rob is still building his operation, I was impressed with the accommodations. I was also impressed that there was two separate doors to enter the cattery from the office to prevent escapees. I don't know about you but my indoor cats have all been escape artists but I would feel confident leaving my cat here. There was a plethora of Kitties to say hello to during our visit and they all seemed to be happy, relaxed and content in their spacious condos. The recreation area was looking impressive, Cat trees everywhere, toys, fish tank, critter videos and plenty of sunlight for kitty cat sun worshiping. I was also impressed with how the place smelled, I was expecting to smell Cat and litter but surprisingly I didn't smell anything.I believe I can leave my Cat here with confidence and he will be safe have fun, be cared for and not have to go nutty because of loneliness or boredom.After our visit at Central Alberta Cattery my daughter begged me to open a Cattery. She said that she love to work there and take care of the cats.

Rob (the owner) does such a wonderful job with this place. We have used The Cattery a few times since he opened and our cat basically does not want to leave when we come to pick her up! Rob does research into what makes a kitty (and owner) happy and you can tell he loves his guests. There is even a huge playroom for the cats to explore! The facility is clean and rates are very reasonable for the high quality set up. We know our kitty is happy and safe when she stays at The Cattery. Highly recommend.

I needed a place to board my two cats on short notice, they had never been boarded before and I was worried about leaving them. Rob showed me the facility and explained how everything worked. I was amazed to see the thought that had been put into the development of the Cattery...window seats, a fish tank and large screen TV, an enclosure big enough for my two cats to stay together. My cats were there for five days and were very comfortable and relaxed when I arrived to pick them up.I do not hesitate to recommend The Cattery to people I know and I will definitely be using the wonderful service supplied by Rob again!!

Rob is a great guy. He took very good care of Candy when I was on vacation. I would highly recommend you contact him for all of your cat care needs while you're away.

My wife and I went on vacation a couple of months ago and with most of our friends had moved far away.My mother had brought up the idea of a cat hotel. She was surprised about the value being provided by Rob at The Cattery.Rob guided us through the process to ensure safety of our cat Harley and the other cats at the Cattery.He posted pictures of Harley who looked comfortable and got along with the other cats.Rob had joked that Harley had such a good time that he would not want to leave. I believe that to be true.I will definitely comeback to the Cattery next vacation, move or renovation.Thank you Rob for your passion for cats.

Rob of CACattery was very accommodating and made sure our cats had all of their needs met. He has genuine care for the cats. His prices are pretty great too! All the cats have their own individual or family condos, with a nice open area with cat trees and climbing shelves for exercise. There are tv monitors with bird videos and background sounds of birds as well.

We recently booked our cat in for a week at the Cattery and really have nothing but positive things to say. We boarded our cat for a week while on vacation and came back to a very happy cat. The condos are very spacious with a great area to run around on their free" time. Communication with the facility was great and they were very accommodating when we required a change to our pick up time due to a storm impacting our arrival home.Very pleased and will certainly book again."

To start with, we are VERY picky people when it comes to who we ask to care for our beloved cats. The Cattery took such good care of our cats, even went above and beyond what I ever could have hoped for or expected. This was a while ago, but we will always be grateful.

We had to board our cat for the first time as he's recently become insulin dependent diabetic and we had to go away for two weeks, and our regular cat sitter wasn't experienced with the injections. We found the Cattery to be an excellent resource - Rob obviously genuinely likes cats and the care he gave our little guy was excellent. Highly recommend.
