Such an amazing area to visit in all the seasons! We absolutely love hiking in the area and exploring. Great ski runs in the winter. Really awesome vibe from the people who work and visit the area. Must stop in the T-bar summer or winter. Great food, drinks and atmosphere.

Love the variety but not great for beginners. Even the greens on the “Huckleberry” lift are pretty steep. My 13yo (who has skied) was stuck with the green lift / bunny hill since the other greens are noticeably tougher. The bunny hill is a little too narrow (compared with Alta, Brighton, Snowbird) with the encroaching housing development. My older teen liked Huckleberry and heading all the way to the top of the mountain even though it was stormy.

Definitely a very underrated. Marie is a highlight such a loving person free hugs. Skiing is awesome here. It doesn't get 5 stars from me because the lifts are very old and slow and need replacing. Not only that they don't have singles lines which is frustrating if you ski single.

Love skiing here at Castle Mountain, one of my new favorite places. Close by home and it usually always has great snow. ❄️ Friendly people and so much fun to ski at. Challenging for sure in a great way.

Either I have good ski karma or this is a great hill. On the drive home I am always thinking it was the best day ever. They put a real effort into making it a good experience.I am a small resort skier so this hill is perfect for me. The longer drive from YYC is worth it.I would say stay away because I don't like others ruining my piece of paradise when I find it. But these guys deserve to make a living so give it a try.

It's great to see that they're improving the amenities around the hill. The parking lot is small and you will have to walk quite a bit to get to the lodge to put on your boots. Like most resorts, they need to improve the signage so that it's easier for new people to know where to go when they get off the lift. Even on the trails, it's easy to get confused and end up on another one. The lifts are older, but it didn't bother me at all, kinda had a retro vibe. Can be busy but the lift lines move fast
